First off, i have the game preordered and can't wait. I've always been a huge fan of fighting games (2d and 3d) and VF is at the top of the totem pole.

My problem: I've been using the X-Arcade 2-man stick to play with friends for years now. But they have yet to make an adapter that works for Xbox 360. I think it is because they are trying to make it wireless and it's patented technology only available to MS.

There is a USB adapter for it though....Does anyone know if the USB adapter would work? I have a feeling it won't.
Or does anyone know a way around this problem? Any help at all is appreciated. I just don't wanna pay for a new arcade stick.

Common USB adapters will not work bro, gotta have an x360 USB adapter, even then there is chance of lag.

Microsoft uses a digital liscense that makes sure nobody can play on the 360 without an authentic MS allowed controller board, as such you will need to either get a mod or buy a new stick, sorry. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

well that sucks sooooooo hard. Surely there is a way for X-gaming to work around the problem. What about MadCatz and Pelican controllers for the 360? How are those any different than the X-Arcade?

Based on what Dan mentioned above your post, they probably have an MS-allowed controller board inside.

The only way X-Gaming can "work around" your problem is by buying a license from MS to make joysticks that work on 360. You'll still have to buy a new stick.

If you really love your current X-Arcade, convert it (or have it converted) for use with 360. That means opening your X-Arcade and wiring the guts of an (or, in your case, two) official X360 controller(s) to your sticks and buttons.

they probably just used a hacked 360 wired controller like the mas sticks that were recently released. not an officially licensed product but more like a custom modded stick that they are mass producing.
