Well people were bugging out about the KOF XII netcode was garbage so I started pestering the rep on their Facebook site and he followed up quick. He posted about a patch and that eased peoples fears on SRK and Neogaf some.

That's why he thanked me for telling him. I bet you I saved SNK some money today...

So the netcode is actually shitty and we are to hold our breath until a patch comes out? Great.

To be fair the console version isn't supposed to be out now and the patch will be available on the official release day.

Hope they get this fixed before you UK release. I won't be getting this game until someone confirms to me that it is. Online was far from great on Garou for me. Not gonna let it happen to me again.

Right now, as far as I'm concerned...Ramon not being in this is the LEAST of KOF 12's problems right now.

The patch won't fix how garbage the game is. The most bare-bones fighter to date.

No, i'm not. I'm no longer happy playing arcade and survival modes over and over on games. I have enough KOF games already and am not the biggest fan, but am a fan of fighters. If this game isn't gonna do anything fantasticly new(which it isn't), then is't gonna have to do everything very well.

I'm fed up with feeling i got bumped because i brought a game that was done half assed. If this falls into that catagory i'll pcik it up when the price is below £15. Maybe.

Yes. At least VF5(PS3)has a Quest mode and a solid training mode. Unlike KOF.

Marly why dont you just buy the game to practise at home and then go to the arcade to play people? or even attend some sessions.

I hear what your saying about the game looking unfinised and maybe not worth however much their charging for it.

I played it and had fun. It's a decent game from what I can tell. I don't think it'll take the time of any of the games that I'm currently playing.

On bare surface, the game looks pretty terrible. The stages are strange as hell. Playing more though, this KOF is very different, but not bad at all. Its a much fairer game than sf4.

You can kill fireballs by hitting them, awkward but its interesting after all these years of being trapped by hadouken. Supers don't have any magical properties, and most of them have fairly long startups. Its more of a footsies game, but evade roll, short jump overheads, breakthrough moves and landing crits make for fun mixups. This bastard Slide got godly on us in an hour of us playing for the first time

So if you're like me and you hated sf4 bs, kof is a great 2d alternative.

If you played 98 then this is childs play.
I've kind of had it with new school fighting games and this Safe Era bullshit. The is Not far better than SF4 at all IMO. The game is a lot like Blazblue in the sense YOU WILL be pounding out Weak attacks on guard or contact into command attacks into special until you get a over damaging critical. You can still get tapped out of DM's with light attacks unsuspectly.

A good game but its not as good as SF4 or Blazbue in terms of fun to me. KOF is showing it age cause its still the same game with easier features. I could go on but no one wants to hear my stupid ass talk lol!

KOF94 to KOF97 had no training mode u had to ensure to learn the game u had to link mates or rivals in arcades in order to get better.

Then KOf98 did have a training mode but most advanced combos u could not do in practice room, Kim is an example most of his stuff u can't do u have to do on a human opponent so there is some style of solid training behind it.

now today its simple for people they can rest up behind a pc and just view bs on you tube and copy other people not really learning nothing are they.

    Peace.
