Mr. Ju vs Team Japan-A Naru??

video is dark and hazy but it is the first clip out of the recent tournament.

finally we get to see the infamous Mr. Ju in action.
Huge debate in korea right now if Mr. Ju is better than Shinz. Also prior to korean tournament Mr. Ju only played 1 day of evo before the tournament and none before that, just straight VF3 (yes vf3 not a typo) to VF evo. ( i hear he was a blood the lineage addict in that filler time) The man from Busan shocked the nation and several japanese people too @_@!!

Now that i actually watched the video, mr ju actually plays akira weird, lot of block, throws, throw escapes, highly defensive. Very Solid defensive game is what sums it up. Its really strange to see a character like this gave ohsu and other japanese players trouble. Although according to korean msgboards, they claim that Mr Ju's defense is so solid you cannot trick him. Maybe he is that good on defense ??

Mr. Ju beat homestay 3 rounds to 0.
But that is what irc and my correspondent tells me. Hopefully maybe 0034 or someone else can confirm this O_O!!

How exactly did the japan team fare against Mr. Ju's team then? Very interested to see what Ohsu did to cope and eventually win.

 

After seeing the footage I'd have to agree with you. He's pretty good. I can only Imagine how well he would've done if he had more Evo experience before the tournament. Hopefully we'll see more footage of this guy in the future.

 

Clip won't play on my computer...anybody know what codec I need to download to watch it (and where I can get it)?

 

check to see your download matches the size of the actual clip. There have been a few that downloaded it but not in its entirety.

Yup the size is correct...and it did take me a couple tries to succesfully download the whole file. Anyways, it unzipped without any problems but when I tried to view the clip I got audio but no video.

 

I only get sound when I watch this clip...

 

I had the same problem with windows media player. It does work for me when I use Quicktime.

at the end of first round, after homestay did 4,6 p+k, ju didnt do p,k. and some crowd reaction was :
'damn~~ do pk pk!!!' and other said 'he doenst know guarantee moves.... damn....'
so i guess either he didnt play vf4 that much or he plays weird...

 

Thanks Dre, Quicktime worked fine. I'm still curious as to why Windows Wedia Player wouldn't run it properly.

 

my media player ran it just fine, but I have nimopack installed so maybe that has something to do with it

 

I finally got it to work in QT as well.

Wesley, after 4, 6+P+K nothing is guaranteed as a counter BTW, so even P, K wouldn't work.

Trouble viewing ..?
