Krunk Con 2-Grand Finals!

CRUNK:
Adjective: A Southern U.S. Hip-Hop term for describing the level of excitement at an event or an excitable attitude.
Krunk Con combines all that is Hip Hop and Underground with all that is Gaming so what better place for the Underground Gaming Series to host their grand finals than Krunk Con 2! Last year was such a tremendous success with the presence of the Konsole Kingz and their Xbox Live Show and other celebrity gamers such as Jinmaster, respected as one of the top gamers in the country and featured in Electronic Gaming Monthly.
This year proves to be even bigger and better with the addition of the UGS Grand Finals, a 4v4 Gears of War tournament, Celebrity Gamers such as bunnyXablaze, one of the most popular female gamers in the country and Sin2Die, currently ranked number three in the nation for Gears of War. Also in attendance will be the most comprehensive coverage of tournaments, eSports TV and the incredibly popular Konsole Kingz return.
There is no other Con in the country like Krunk Con and no other city like Atlanta! Join us as we make Hip Hop History!

Doors open at 10AM for sign-in on Saturday and Sunday. Must be signed in one hour prior to tournament start...NO EXCEPTIONS!

UGS not getting much love around here... I wonder why?
Do you have a venue confirmed yet? It's less than a month away...

 

I'm pretty sure I'm going to this. It'll be the first VF tournament I've ever attended if I go. I do expect to lose...but it'll be worth it just to play someone who knows what they're doing.

 

You might want to reconsider. Would you go to a tourney where the winners do not get their prize?

Oh...nevermind then. I had no idea. Well, that sucks. I was looking forward to it. Guess I'll just wait for another event in the Atlanta area.

I would love to go to VTYME, but it's a bit too far. I have time, just not money.

To answer your question, yes Yupa we have had a venue confirmed for some time

 

We at the UGS must regretfully announce that the CEO of the company, due to a serious car accident, has been severely injured. As a result, we will need to postpone the Krunk Con 2 Event/UGS Grand Finals to the weekend of December 7, 2007. The schedule will remain the same except for the date changes. Please make a note of that, and we apologize for the inconvenience and last minute press release.

i could care less about bands or concerts at a tournament as does most gamers. all we want to know is is that prize money guarenteed? are we going to recieve our payments or are we going to get burned like tons of others have before hand?
