Kumite auras>>??? I wish.

One feature that im sure that will never come to virtua is the tekken style hit auras. I think thats a cool feature tekken has i wish kumite would include and maybe have the items have a small noticeable effect on the characters. I would love to see a lightning ki on Akira or fire from Jackys trail after a combo. This is a wish for a much cooler feature ...I can only dream.

 

Your not going to see fire or lightning in VF, but do you have the hit effects lighting turned on? The default on PS2 for some stupid reason is to have this feature set off.

If you have it on, you'll see:
white flash on normal hit
yellow flash on major counter
red flash when you stagger opponent

You can change up your float combos based on whether you saw the yellow flash (and heard the loud boom sound) that you get when you interrupt an opponent or not.
