Latest update on AMK funland

Hi to all,

Now when you change for a $10 card at Ang Mo Kio funland, you will get an additional complementary drink (on the house). The drink is valid for the day only but you can choose to redeem it any time you want.

Think about this :
Every $10 you spend, you will get

1 big screen machine set to 3 rounds
$14 worths of credits (28 credits)
1 complementary drink (they got Coke, Grape, Root beer & 7-up)

something to add on.... the controls were alot better than other arcades(last mth).

Err...I don't want to make your advert look bad, but there are 3 big screen machines there and the arcade operator chose the WORST looking big screen for VF4.

-The graphics are blurr (compared to the other 2 machines on its side) and
-Less bright. (compared to the other 2 machines on its side)
-Some ppl people have problems reading the words "Challenger" and "Champion" at the top of the screen if I'm not wrong....
-Plus, the button configuration is non-authentic (the punch and guard button are vertically above each other), the buttons should be slightly slanted (above 10-15 deg) for comfortable play just like the Vs Cabinets found at Park Lane and Bugis.

That is quite an insult to a great game that we spend our hard-earned money on...

I strongly suggest that all players go to Park Lane:
-50 cents for 3 rounds
-2 Vs machines

*Controls were just improved (Sat) and should be up to std for most ppl.

Oh well, economically, he has a point. We get to play like what ? 8 more games as well as a drink on the side in comparison to Parklane. Bugis is a plain rip off. I'm not even sure why most of us go there other than the fact that there almost always will have someone or the other playing there in the evenings.

Now, if only the PS2 version of VF has multiplayer capability..... Gods, I'll never need to leave my home again.... /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

and now tat the interchange has shifted opposite funland it makes travelling to AMK funland just tat little bit easier.

just went down today to meet danny and his fren.haven been playing very often nowadays due to school and other stuff.

Alan is taking a short break on VF4. He is busy with FFX now. Then again, it might be his prison warden that is stopping him.

 

i agree...at this pt in time...the only game that can take any attention off vf4...has to be FFX.
Just a thought..how many other guys here with ps2 plays FFX?

killed him with 4 ultima i think... or was it 2 ultima .......

 

Ultima that strong ah?? damn..should have unlock it...i rush through the game only to find out that the only magic i have that is capable of 9999 damage is Yuna's Holy.. then when i check back on Lulu's sphere grid ...she has to unlock 4 lvl-4 locks to get Ultima..at that stage in time..already too late for me to find the lvl.4 spheres liao...so i piang....
Keep using Healing water and only Yuna's Holy.... summoning Aeon only as shields for Jecht's Overdrive.
then towards the very very end then unleash Bahamut and Anima's Overdrive.
tough fight for me ah....

 

ermmm... i got yuna's ultimate weapon so it's way easy by doing 30 k per spell with double cast. my lulu only do like 15 k per ultima lol.

i thought it's like 2 to 3 level4 sphere to ultima? don't think it's 4......

i didn't even use aeon when i started fighting sin to the end.

ya i am busy with work and FFX. Closed to finishing FFX. now is going to omega ruins to rise levels before fighting final bose. Have not got holy or ultima yet.

There are some monsters really hard to fight. Sometimes when wandering around, the stupid mika? will call up ultra powerful aeons and kill me. irritating.

I stopped playing VF for quite some time after losing to wilson brothers. xian... I like to win when I play /versus/images/icons/smile.gif dunno whether I can commit enough time to reach their standard.

If you guys are having another competition I will definately join so that you guys can trash me /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

talk about Mika....i realise something kewl after getting Yojimbo as my Aeon. normally after getting him..ppl tend to exit by using the wrapping stand. But once, i thought that i might as well walk back...and train some exp. But on the way out of the first door..a priest stopped me...and Yojimbo showed up behind him...then attacked me!!!
damn..i thought after buying him, he would be on my side..why in the hell would he attack me? do not get this one.

Oh and Alan, think you will do well to get the Holy or Ultima..if not very chiam. For me, Holy is my only bread-n-butter, if not for it, i have no idea how i would have gotten past Yunalesca too..
