well less ppl yea but I think better quality I reckon. Plus more practise with some ppl slightly higher skilled than urselves which was good for me. I got some good sarah practice. Still room for improvement tho I say.

About the pricing system steve maybe u shud try monthly trnys. Ask a survey about this and see their response. Plus u got less to pay but more prizes can be given. I dunno, can't hurt to ask.

 

Done the monthly thing with Dynamic League.

Its more or less the same. £115 for a van plus handing out money for higher ranking ppl doesn't generate enough money on a monthly basis.

Now say if I was to do this monthly... I would actually be making a major loss.

If I was to give 7 refs £5 each, plus £100 for the tournament. = £135
I will need 45 ppl to turn up to break even. If I was to give prizes of a game, have 4 titles playing at one time = £200 + £135 = £335

This means I've made a loss of £200.. This means if I hold it every month, I'll be making a total loss of £2400 or more.

Now considering only 40 ppl came on the 12th.. it would not be worth the loss.

not in response to anybody inparticular, it was a fun event, but i kinnda lost my yomi at the last few hours, got tired and drowsy since i showed up pretty early. i noticed that i have a completely different frame of mind when i sit down to Ryan or Odu and it's starting to be a pretty bad weakness... i was well crap, only beat an akira, was that optimus? reffing soul calibur2 messed with my head!!! well at least i got a 30+ win streak at super turbo and 15 at garou mark of the wolfs, no one wanted to play VF3 TB, i brought the usa one which has a proper vs mode!
RE: the low turn out, did u see the weather??? it was blue-blue skys all around!!! hell id say that was the main reason, hav u seen the females when its like that on road!!! haha anyways im hoping u set soming for nxt month, an nxt time tell me exactly what u need games/console/leads wise!

 

just wanted to know is it 3 suid everytime to enter the tournament and what other games are on offer.

has the last event results been confirmed yet? what happens to those who have come 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, etc? or does it just continue on next month..

 

5th July results have been processed. Still need to process the last tournament results. player in 1st position will get their details forward to GamerWeb TV and they will contact you regarding their television show. No runnerup prize for coming 2nd or 3rd...

Now that I received evo the other day, I'm really going to make an effort to train and compete next month. I know the theory, it's just a matter of improving my reflexes and timing so that all my knowledge becomes practical.

What's the general character preference at the tournaments, are all the characters well represented?

DAKIRA the knee ninja, lmao!!! Suprisingly last night I was having some fun with Akira and I pulled off the knee a good few times AND when I needed them, lol. I thought it was funny, doesn't mean I'm switching to him BTW, I just sometimesl ike to play as other characters for fun.

Who's Van?

Steve if you bring a Pal copy of Tekken Tag I can bring a game acclerator to boost it to 60hz. All I need do is put it in in the beginning then replace discs and then you don't need to use it again. But as you say the experts are having their own Tekken Tag comp in Casino so save it for the following week.

 

van is VOSOR,.... probably takes the vanessa throne of the UK seeing as nobody else i know uses her.. nor that evil.
