ok, i decided to make a new thread for this meeting rather than clogging up Chris'. Faded came down to Leeds to play me and Andy and we had some good games, hopefully Faded can put the replays up on this thread.........

    Faded:
VERY impressed. The only time i saw you play before was at manchester when you all came down, and although i was impress then with what i saw, i only got to play you once with Jeff V Jeff, so i really didn't know your capacity. You managed to keep up with us pretty well, your matches with Andy we good to watch as you both were playing at an equal level of play. your Kage is by far your best character, you should definately keep using him. Akira was good to watch as well, i have seen many people play Akira, but you are one of the best. (with Pinking and Elite).
our matches were decent, although i trounced you most of the time, i could see that it was partly due to the fact you are inexperienced against Jacky, (Like how you noticed my fight against your Shun-buddy in Manchester). Nice TFT combos, you landed it much more than i expected due to good use of punch [6] throw.
hope you can come down again sometime, or we can come up to you when we raise the cash.
p.s. put up some of the replays on here if you can.........

    Elite:
Not bad, not great. I suppose you lacked a little with Goh this time, but your Akira was on form this time. Some cameo appearances from Kage (who played quite well) and Wolf (who abused his throw power) and Shun who i didn't see play coz i must have been at the chippy, ah well.........

    Ev2:
i reckon i played the best with Jacky, my 80% win ratio is something i am quite proud of. plenty of Jacky V Kage matches, most of them ending in 5-0 in my favour, but it was obvious that you didnt know how to defend against Jacky.

here are the win ratios or each character for anyone who is interested:

    FADED:
    Akira - 12% 1/7
    Goh - 33.3% 4/8
    Jacky - 16.7% 1/5
    Jeff - 40% 8/12
    KAGE - 38.3% 54/87
    Aoi - 0% 0/2

    ELITE:
    Akira - 66.7% 24/12
    GOH - 47.9% 23/25
    Wolf - 64.3% 9/3
    Kage - 54.5% 6/5
    Shun - 75% 3/1
    Lion - 0% 0/2

    Ev2:
    JACKY - 82.8% 48/10
    Jeff - 60.7% 8/4
    Lau - 25% 1/3

we can see that my Jacky was the single best performer, although Elite will probably have the better overall ratio, as all bar two people are above 50%.

please note, all the fights were against Faded, me and Andy didnt play each other, we didnt really see the point as we live together. ( im not gay, in fact i can honestly say, i've never come over a bit queer : /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif)

    thats all i guess.

Egads my ratios are worse than I realised (mostly due to your jacky)

It all started off pretty badly, there was that good point in the middle and then all the fight kinda went out on me. Can't really say I'm too bothered about losing though, it was a good laugh and time seemed to fly by. Hopefully we can do it again in the near future.

But yeah the jacky matches. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm surprised by the win/loss ratios tbh /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Anyway, anyone who can achieve a 80% winning ratio against Faded has my respect. Well done /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif !

    Looking forward to the replays.

It might take a while since i still need to take the capture card out of the old machine and stick it in the new one. Hopefully i can get around to it at the weekend.

I don't think we saved many 'good' matches it was more the ones where somone (usually me /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) got owned. And of course when someone (no names *cough*andy*cough*) kept doing rising midkicks again and again to kage in jumonji.

Wow, if you Leeds boyz can hand out that sort of beating to Faded (80% wins) you should seriously be heading down to London for some comp. Despite what RandomHajile might tell you about primary school children in London being better than Chibita, I'm sure you guys could kick some serious ass down there.

Regarding repeated use of various moves in VF, I really hope they put together some sort of style rating in future VFs that award more varied play.

If Shaun and Andy could use stick's then they could certainly hold there own in London, although, having just come back from there last weekend, the competetion is fierce, I don't even wanna contemplate what the competition will be like this weekend for Absolution, I was gonna go, but there's no way I'm paying 50 quid for a last minute one way ticket. BTW Shaun & Andy, IronMike said he'll be coming to the next Manchester meet, don't know if your interested?

regarding Li mengs comment about whooping Faded, you do realise that i am the guy that you kicked out of the tournament in machester (i was Jeffry).
ok, i think i will get some dosh together to go down to london but, i was wondering if any of you know weather we will be able to use pads, (at absolution for instance). (btw, when is the next absolution, do you know?)
Stroppa, we aint ungreatful for the "rgb", like you said it was free. it does improve the quality of the picture in comparison to the one we got with the machine, it just doesnt put it in colour, but thanx anyways, you konw?
hopefully we will be able to come and whoop the rest of you guys silly, and maybe i can get a rematch against Li Meng, I will never forgive you and your god damn Shun for ruining my shot at DeLune.......argh.
just out of curiousity, have any of you seen or played IronMike, coz he is supposed to be wanting a grudge against me and andy, i was just wondering if you think we will win or not, Ade (from manchester) sems to think he will win, but i am not so sure.
FADED, get the replays onto the net as soon as you can, i want everyone to see my skills.........(and also to laugh at andys constant 'stroppa effect').
