lei-fei wish list

Everyone says lei-fei is op, but f*** that. With the time i've put into the game i would be as good with virtually ANY character as i am with lei. Some i would be better- some not quite as good. I believe this of the top lei users as well. so without further ado, here are some moves i would loooooove to have on top of what my (beast-in-training) lei already has.

1ST: Arrow punch mix ups. I want to have the option to gaurd cancel during charge, or press down k to go from charge to sweep kick. Hell, how bout a throw cancel as well.
2nd: Speaking of throws, i want a throw vs ducking opponent.
3rd: On back p+k,p, i want a sweep mix-up on this to. Or at least a low mix-up. i.e. back p+k, down k or something simimilar.
4: I want upforward k+g to be replaced with a jump kick or kick with all same properties/data that looks cooler.
5:Speaking of cool, i want a jump karate kick--like jacky's, but preferably more effective. It doesnt have to be a world beater, maybe just a cool looking move to punish whiffed attacks--like whiifed recovery attack and WHAM.
6: I want to be able to enter all my stances by choice, i.e. not have to rely on doing certain moves to get into certain stances. Or at least more ways to get into my stances.

So that's what i'm wanting. What would u guys like 2 see added to his moves? Within reason.

 

Iron crotch stance. All mids cause self inflicting sitting stagger.

Fatalities.

 

I want Leis default colors to be rainbow colored robe and he should
walk with a twitch. That way new players will instantly be able to tell
how gay he is.

 

While Lei-Fei is a cool character IMHO his hits do way too much damage. I'm not trying to pick a fight with any of the Lei-Fei players out there, but I've recently been taking note of how much damage Lei-Fei's moves do and his damage seems a little insane to me. A friend of mine uses Lei-Fei and I've seen him take off close to 50% of an opponent's health with a mere two button presses. If anything Lei-Fei's damage needs to be lowered a little or they need to reduce his speed a little, because the amount of damage he does coupled with his speed = OP. The TC said that he would be as good with any character as he/she/it is with Lei-Fei? Well alright then. Prove it. Let's see how far you get with Lion or Sarah. Play for a whole month against GOOD Lei-Fei players while you only use Lion or Sarah and then we'll see if you still say that all the characters are on equel level with Lei-Fei.

 

Oh man, no more of these threads!! I understand where you're coming from but these posts never end well. I have been guilty of this myself and I regret it in retrospect.

Play a thousand games against Lei and you'll have a harder time beating other characters. The damage-to-skill learning curve might be lower for Lei initially, but as one goes up in skill it all evens out.

I did, however, chuckle at the idea of a wish-list for Lei of all characters. Like I said: Fatalities.

 

unlike other characters lei doesnt have a whine button. Post that 2 button 50% damage combo cause it doesnt exist.

 

He should have two new items. One of them should be a baseball cap and the other should be a red and white shirt.

Heh Lei can have other stuff as long as they nerf something in return. I'm fine with that. I beat yallz asses anyway. The funniest thing is how Lei has built in evades into
a lot of his shit.

I wish Lei-Fei had powers like Neo from The Matrix and could use telekenesis to toss his foe out of the ring, and even over high fences. He'd toss their ass right into a car in Jacky's stage and the car alarm would go off

I wish Lei-Fei could do the chicken noodle soup dance. And during the dance he would be able to reverse all attacks.

I wish Lei-Fei could do lp, lp, f, lk, hp. and shinkuu hadouken.

I wish Lei-Fei had a win quote were he says
"Hwaaah! ...my penis is larger than yours..."

I mean, they could give him a low grab, but then he'd be too OP i think.

I hope he gets a new stance!
They can nerf his damage a little to make the crybabies quiet down a little if they like, no biggie... (btw learn to stagger recover) but if he gets a new stance, or two, or three... That'd totally make up for it.

 

YEAH I'm all for that! Make the punishment last longer!
