Lei Question

I've had this game for a week. I started playing Lei as a button-masher, but I've improved my timing, learned how to transition stances rather fluidly, but I'm still trying to put together a good attack plan for my mid-range game.

I've been enjoying this combo: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. This is where you lie down and pounce up with a powerful mid-punch.

My question to the more experienced Lei players here: what is the best follow-up to the combo above? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thats not a combo. Anything with range is fine. U can do 66P, 66K or dash in.

 

actually, that's the beauty of lei fei.
He has over a dozen ways to start what are probably the most easiest, strongest, and universal wall combos in the entire game regardless of it being a high wall or low wall. From that stance and move you can do my fav combo since vf 4. up-forward kick-
back p,p- back, fw, fw p+K on high wall.
That move is also pretty useful since it just about tracks anything in front of you and when block is still relatively safe.
But, outside of wall combos, you can't do a combo after that move alone.
