I have a few question about Lei.

I just watched one of the Lei clips from Bay area, and I am wondering if the u/f+k+g in an air combo can be techrolled?? Because it seems from the clip that it cannot be techrolled.

Anyway, from another thread there seems to be reference to Lei's ground game... can Lei hit very well OTB?? What is his best move for punishing techroll??

 

Lei's uf+K+G cannot be TR'ed from. d+P+K+G P+K is the best way to punish techrollers after a face down head towards knockdown (the infamous 90% "combo"). It can also be used after regular knockdowns for a quick hit, although followups thereafter are not guaranteed.

 

Hey have you tried the low K combo stagger,

d+k(crane),k,d+p+k+g,p,p+k,u/f+k+g,stomp.
damage (without modifiers)
15+21+10+27+20+13=106
All from a low attack... and it is confirmed against everyone except fat people and Akira/Jacky.

I can't seem to get it (last u/f+k+g) as the stance change is quite tricky to my slow fingers.

 

can you confirm for me whether the k from crane is guaranteed after the d+k from crane? or can they stagger out

 

Alan -- yeah, you can get the whole thing to connect against light/midweights.

Doomboy -- it is guaranteed only if the (crane) d+K hits the opponent close up, otherwise you can struggle and block the (scorpion) K thereafter.
