License Challenge List

Some notes about License Challenge.

Ranks: You start off at D3 and work your way up to A1. You obtain each rank after a certain number of completed challenges.

D3 -> D2 = 1 Challenge
D2 -> D1 = 2 Challenges
D1 -> C3 = 5 Challenges
C3 -> C2 = 8 Challenges
C2 -> C1 = 12 Challenges
C1 -> B3 = 17 Challenges
B3 -> B2 = 22 Challenges
B2 -> B1 = 28 Challenges
B1 -> A3 = 35 Challenges
A3 -> A2 = 42 Challenges
A2 -> A1 = 50 Challenges

The challenges themselves are in blocks of 10. You can only play the ones that are unlocked, and a new one is unlocked after completing the previous one. These are the challenges.

The Dural fight in challenge 50 is on the very cool space version of Dural's stage. It's awesome.

When you complete all 50 challenges, you unlock either the Taka or Jean gamer picture (or maybe both) on 360 (not sure about PS3), and the ability to play the levels on hard difficulty.

And that's about it for License Challenge, really.

 

Good job, i'm doing them right now. They are very interesting to do. I'm practice with that

 

Ah, so thats where they've put "Survival Mode". Wondered why it was odd its wasn't on the main option page?

Heh, its a new game and i was wondering in another post, why it wasn't around to select. As i have haven't checked the License Challenge yet.

#39 is against Vanessa, Vanessa, Taka, Aoi, Vanessa
#44 it's just four Offensive Moves, not five

at least on PS3, maybe xbox is different


EDIT: Okay, just went through it. PS3 only gets the harder difficulty. But I also notice, if you change to hard there will be a new class at 60 licenses!

 

Did anyone finish it yet? I'm on #41, mainly using Shun and Pai.

 

Awww... No unlocking Hyper Action Battle for Offline VS? I love the stupidity of Hyper Action Battle. To only be able to play it in a few select challenges...

 

There are ranks above A1 as well. If you replay it on the hard difficulty you can unlock them.

 

Ok good to know that there are more. I'm still at the 27th xD

 

Dang... Im on the 5th.... Didnt knew there were so many...

 

I already completed the license challenge and you can only get the hard difficulty awarded to you after you complete all license challenges. Btw, can someone tell me how many more license challenges there are above A1 and the reward for completing them. Thanks.

 

I'm at 60/100 now.
Challenges #51 - #100 are the same as #1 - #50, only harder. If you start on hard all of them are unlocked. So you don't have to do them in a specific order.

To complete the ranking list:
A1 -> Super = 60 Challenges
Super -> ??? = 75 Challenges

To me the super rank looks like it has a dot (like the ranks in online ranking matches, hunter and stuff like that). <span style="text-decoration: line-through">I'll upload a picture later on.</span>

If it's really a dot I believe the ranks will be
Super* -> Super** = 75 Challenges
Super** -> Super*** = 100 Challenges

 

I'm wondering if you earn items at the end. Could be nice ^^

Just got up to 75 challenges. Next (and I believe last) is at 100.
Ranking list is:
A1 -> Super = 60 Challenges
Super -> Expert = 75 Challenges
Expert -> ??? = 100 Challenges

Hmm the space dural stage seems interesting, I've only completed enough to unlock my last trophy!

 

just finished the 0 drink mission. that was kinda hard imho somehow that shun always managed to get at least 1 dp in the end and i didn't know how erase it without kill him first <.<'

 

Try Jacky's +. If you hit Shun it will erase 1 drink.
Other characters have other moves so just try a bit around.

 

Oh Hyper Action Battle....when VF meets Mahval... Jeffry does a kill combo? Who needs a pipe when he's packing those guns?

 

Any combo of Wolf's that does +, + and Screw Hook in it will remove 3DP. It's not too hard.

 

This Taka with extra health on hard mode is actually giving me problems haha

 

Welp beat them all on hard. I don't think it locked anything at all haha. You earn MASTER title at 100 after the 75 mark.

Was hoping I'd unlock that crazy dural stage for versus play at least lol
