The following five Lion attacks hit low, but for each Lion recovers high: db+P+K; db+K+G; b,f+K+Gd+K; (back turned) d+P; (back turned) d+K.

    1. Earlier in the thread, I had asked: Myke: The notes in the VP Lion command list point out moves that trip the opponent; are you interested in adding them to the VFDC list, along with the slams, foot crumbles, flops, etc.? Myke, you replied: I don't believe there is anything special about the "trip". It's akin to a head snapping back from a high punch, or doubling over from a toekick -- it's just a new (to VF4) way of animating the hit from a low sweep that doesn't knock down. Maybe I just misunderstand the term Trip, but Lion's (back turned) d+P Low Swipe causes what I assume is a Trip, that is effectively the same as forcing a crouch, since the opponent is temporarily not vulnerable to high attacks/throws (at least that’s how it appears to me). So if Force Crouch attacks are noted, shouldn't this be too?
    2. The PPb+P Double Punch, Dodging Swipe causes a Flop.
    3. The f+P Elbow and the df+K Side Kick cause a Crouch Stagger; the b,f+P+KPP Hook Poke, Double Middle Poke also causes a Crouch Stagger except on MC.
    4. The reversal level for the b,f+P+KPP Hook Poke, Double Middle Poke should be changed from MP to EL.
    5. The b,f+K+Gd+P and the b,f+K+Gdb+P and the b,f+K+Gd+K, if continued into, negate the DP –1 sobering effect of the b,f+K+G Half-Moon Kick.
    6. The P+K Double Poke should have its Sober (DP –1) note corrected to Sober (DP –2).
    7. The Landing Sweep is a low attack that recovers high.
    8. If only the first of the two component attacks of Lion's db+K Handplant Kicks hits (the one doing 7 damage), there is no knockdown. Shouldn't there be Hit/MC frame advantage stats for this?

    Edited to add comment 8.

Myke, with regard to comment 1 of my previous post: You addressed it in the Jacky errata thread -- no need to do it again. Chalk it up to a bad trip on my part. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

    2. The PPb+P Double Punch, Dodging Swipe causes a Flop.

    Updated.

    3. The f+P Elbow and the df+K Side Kick cause a Crouch Stagger; the b,f+P+KPP Hook Poke, Double Middle Poke also causes a Crouch Stagger except on MC.

    Updated.

    4. The reversal level for the b,f+P+KPP Hook Poke, Double Middle Poke should be changed from MP to EL.

    Updated.

    5. The b,f+K+Gd+P and the b,f+K+Gdb+P and the b,f+K+Gd+K, if continued into, negate the DP –1 sobering effect of the b,f+K+G Half-Moon Kick.

Added the note "Negates Sober effect" to the above moves.

    6. The P+K Double Poke should have its Sober (DP –1) note corrected to Sober (DP –2).

    Updated.

    7. The Landing Sweep is a low attack that recovers high.

    Updated.

    Probably. But there isn't.

Reversal levels for Lion's rising attacks:
All of Lion's low rising attacks are SW.
    Midlevel rising attacks:
Face up feet towards: All are MCR.
Face up head towards: All are SK.
    Face down feet towards:
    1. no roll (no delay): This is a special attack that I believe is not reversible. It consists of two "flying" kicks, each doing 10 damage.
    2. delay: SK
    3. longer delay: MCR
    4. sideroll: MK
    5. backroll: SK
    Face down head towards:
    1. no roll (no delay): Not reversible; a sort of tumbling/flipover attack.
    2. delay: MCR
    3. sideroll: SK
    4. backroll: MCR

Added Rising Attacks (omitted longer delay for now due to lack of frame stats).

    1. The reversal level for the back turned P Double Punch is "HP, HP." Both punches can be reversed.
    2. The (side) P+G Knee Back Breaker should be separated into a (right side) P+G Knee Back Breaker and a (left side) P+G Knee Back Breaker. They are sufficiently different. For instance, the (right side) version causes Lion and his opponent to switch ring positions, whereas the (left side) version keeps the relative ring positions intact.

    3. The reversal level for the db+K Handplant Kicks should be "LK, LK." The second kick can be reversed by first evading the attack and very quickly inputting the reverse command. It obviously does more damage than simply reversing the first kick.
    4. The f,f+P+G Grab & Fling should have an "IR possible" note.
