List of people who are 10th Dan and higher

Since most people are never on at the same time I thought it would be nice to get a list of people who are in the high tier ranks (or even if you used to be).

Before I write further I should mention that this is not about being rank hungry, rather, I feel I play a lot better when it matters and personally have more fun in ranked matches. Really who cares about a win or loss, but nevertheless ones rank is an indication to how well you've been progressing in the game. Coincidentally there are a lot of people that I know are high rank that I never even see anymore.

On a side note it's fun to find low ranks that have an extremely high win percentage. Obviously they must be doing something right which usually makes for a great match.

So, if you're 10th Dan or above list yourself here, your rank, and even your highest rank or worst demote. It would even be fun to coordinate a time when a bunch of high ranks could all be in the lobby at once. Like I said above also list yourself if you've been high ranked but have dropped. If you're good enough to get there once you're good enough to do it again. I'm a great example for this - I may be the only person that's been as high as Barbarian and then within days was back down to 9th Dan. I've toggled from 9th Dan to Barbarian about 5 times. To make it worse I was one match away from ranking up past Barbarian when I starting sliding backwards.

I think you should make list of rank.

I'm playing VF5 with Japanese, so I can understand what rank is what rank really easily.

But rank of English isn't easy to understand what rank is what rank.

Konjou or Denkai??

 

MasaRED has highest rank in US.

He has Berserker rank which is almost highest rank. He needs one more promote, but he almost demote because of me. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

And Konjou, Denkai, and me are second.

Konjou and Denkai are Vindicator, and I'm Assasin. Konjou and Denkai has over 80% win ratio, and my win ratio is about 75% that's why our ranks are defferent, but we are same rank.

i know this question is broke, but what exactly is the percieved difference in japanese players. Is it really as simple as they have better competition so they get better. Or with the higher competition would our masters be smacked down to 5th dans against japanese competition. Will anyone please xplain this to a noob.

Usually: 9,10,master endless loop, and loving it.

I know you said "If you're tenth dan..." but I inevitably will be, as I have had it, passed it, and lost it about 45 times since I bought my Xbox last year.

I noticed one thing that's kind of funny. All of the names below 70% are "good guy" names. 70% to 80% are "bad guy" names. And above 80% are champion names.

@Tatsuki - I have no idea what the Japanese names are so yes you should post them.

 

You're very kind for someone I don't think I have ever beaten. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif I'll win the occasional game against Masared even, but your Shun is perfectly set up to thwart all my strategery. I did get back to tenth also, as planned.

look at second latter. like 者、人、将、王、聖、帝、神

then you can know which rank is which rank.

and plus 2.

here is translate to English. I don't know how to explain 者 and 人.

将→known as Shogun

王→king

聖→like...holy(?)

帝→Emperor

神→God (kami)


and...拳 is fist. 闘 is fighter. 武 is...what? can't explain well. hahaha

so, 拳王 is same as Protector rank. but 拳王's meaning is King of Fist.

Am I the only one who thinks Hunter and Raider sounds cooler than warrior and veteran. Assassin and vindicator is probably push, they are both cool. Sucks that berserker is so high, as its not as cool as assassin. (BTW this is all IMO of course, and based heavily on my fandom of roleplay videogames--i.e. not huge fan of berserker b/c its always been a throw away class on FF)
