ugggh...it pains me that this jackass has managed to rank up with all the pulling. such an inuslt to all the good, and not so good, players who have been grinding forever to get better and enjoy ranked success.

We may need to have a dedicated day where we all xbl complaint for tampering with system him, hehehehe, get him banned.

I'm just bitter.

You can't... win or lose you get nothing from a Conqueror.

Conqueror, Liberator and Destroyer are all "final" rankings. No way of losing it, no way of going up from it (unless Sega were to do some sort of special online tournament with special rank prizes, but that won't happen at all).

Sega won't do it. But thats a brilliant idea! Purely Genius. On one hand, i almsot can't fathom how awesome that would be.....but then again, it wouldn't make any difference to me....since i'd have no shot at winning it.

I swear there are some people that used to do that on purpose. You'd beat them once or twice (1-2rds in ranked) and all of a sudden it woudl start jumping and lagging all over the place.

I've seen it all been through it all. That's why I will never adjust or accommodate to lag, fo real for real.

So, if you're a Vanquisher/Berserker/Paladin or an Avenger/Slayer/Guardian and you beat a Conqueror/Destroyer/Liberator, you don't get a credit for it on your rank bar? That sux.

My original question, was if you make it to Conqueror/Destroyer/Liberator, then you can not be demoted?
...at least that's my experience in quest mode.

Also, Wasted Wish sent me a PM. He's currently a Raider, so he's close to the top ranks, too.
Wasted Wish, None Other, MasaRED and adamYUKI need to set up some ranked matches so that we can hopefully get another Slayer/Guardian in the mix.

Does Wasted Wish still play in ranked? I don't see him in ranked anymore...

I promoted Barbarian yesterday. And Yupa, you forgot one more person who is Gentlemanthief, I just found him yesterday, and I'm pretty sure he is Raider now.

I wanna face with JHow and Wasted Wish, we haven't played ranked match long time.

Wasted sent me the PM yesterday... (He's "smb" here.) Oy, I just read it again... he said he doesn't really play ranked anymore, but just wanted to toot his horn because he's made it to Raider.

Anyway, he's someone I'd msg if I was trying to rank up from Slayer.

Slide it took me a Month to adapt to lag after the WCG's tourney in april. My timing was fucked and i was looking real noobish (Wait im still a newb.). Thats when i realized offline is a different beast.

Yes. Final ranks cannot be demoted in online. I believe they copy the Sumo ranking, where the final rank of Yokozuna cannot be demoted either.

ps. Online is so dead these days I cant even make it back to 10 dan. Let alone find somebody non-gray bar who would be willing to fight me for five times.

Damn Yupa, there was a reason I sent you a PRIVATE MESSAGE, it was messed up for you to put me on blast like that....but whatever, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, i guess.

I didn't want to 'toot my own horn' :thumbs down: but it is an accomplishment i am proud to have attained. Regardless of how little rank means, its something i wanted, worked very hard at for a long time, and eventually accomplished.

None Other: I don't really play anymore. I started to dabble with shun for bout 20 mins a week, but even that I have neglected to do in over a month. We haven't seen wasted wish in players or ranked anytime in the last 3 or 4 months, and we shalln't be seeing him again for another 3-4 i suspect.

Heck, when i do come back to VF5, i have some unfinished business to attend to with pai before I reincarnate my monk.

Yeah I have 2 accounts! I don't use my Konjou Akira account anymore though. Who knows maybe 1 day I might revive it, but with the lack of ranked players around I just don't see the point.

Offline, even little jabs hurt more and everyone plays on eggshells. Cause you lose you give up the sticks for a bit, you can't just keep playing, you might be sidelined for like 15+ min. Little mind game subtleties ping more too, and trash talk get into your head more like nobody's business.

Online only players of any game, got that auto-pilot bravery in their own gameplan.
