Hey all, just letting you guys know that Arcade Infinity is getting in Ver.B soon, like in a week or so? One of the owners told me while i was playing the VF machine there. Guess they've been trying to get ver.b this whole time and finally they found a way to get it. But im thinking it probably doesn't matter to you guys anymore since its out on console. I still play VF at AI daily though hehe

ugh I was just talking to the owners and seems like they won't be getting in ver.b, the people they were getting it from had gotten VF4 ver.b instead of VF4 "EVO" ver.b AI is still trying to get Evo ver.B though, just waiting for a gdrom to be available for sale. To end on a brighter note, the VF machine at AI is only $.50 to start and $.25 to continue. Oh I also have a question, I didn't notice this before but when i get to dural in the arcade, she has a glowing purple eye now... why is that? It happens everytime i get to her with my goh...

i think the glowing dural has to do with the certain amount of wins on your VFnet card

"In Arcade mode, reach Dural's stage with any character having a number ''9'' as the last digit of the total wins (ie. 9, 19, 29... ), and you will get to fight Dural with purple glowing eyes. However, if the ''Fight stealth Dural'' conditions are also met, you will fight stealth Dural instead."

something like that, keep us updated with Ver. B status. And goto console meets, more. On a side note, our group will have a meet at pomona house where we had e3 meet this saturday. PM me if your interested on going

Re: Los Angeles - The Future of VF

Good idea. I'm all for regular Friday get togethers - like once every two weeks. Our house isn't so suitable for them at the moment, but I have no problem bringing a full setup (including TV) to someone's place - especially one of the Team Tokyo Mafia places as they're central for many of the SoCal players. For Catherine and I, it seems best for us to quit around 2am, as we usually have full weekends planned - so getting started by 8pm is a good thing.

Post gatherings, regularly scheduled or not, on this thread.

SoCal needs to win the VF tourney at Evo2k3.

Hey what's up guys. I just felt like giving you guys a little status report. Sorry I haven't been able to drop by and play, but my summer has been a bit of a crazy one. Good news though; I'm trying to transfer to a school here in So Cal, so when my schedule does clear, you'll be seeing me.

And add one to the VF boat. I had one of my friends pick a character and go through the whole trial mode and command list mode (VF4). He picked up quickly, and has become pretty decent against me. Another friend of mine is going to do the same thing (go through the trial) when I get Evo, and I'm sure that he'll like VF.

So occasionally when I do finally show, I'm likely to bring these two with me. Only thing is that Sat. nights would be the best times we can meet.

Take care, and good luck at Evolution 03. Turns out I can't make it /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Show them what So Cal VF play is made of.
