Lost in Tokyo

hey everybody

i am a german dude spending 6 months in tokyo. are there any other folks in the area who can give me arcade advice? where are the most tournaments or gatherings, where is the best place to practice, or to see high level players, or maybe to meet other foreign or at least english speaking VFs? (since my japanese extremely sucks).

i am playing VF for about 10 years, but always only console versions with a pad, since germany has no arcades at all. so i suck at playing with a stick. but i wanna take this chance to experience japans VF scene.

any advice welcome.

You should PM CheifGutti for some tips. Why you ask? Because Mr.Gutti happens to live in Germany at the moment, and TWO, he study in Japan for awhile. So he might help you to link up with fellow VF players over there. There's other members here as well with contacts over there, but for you, I think Gutti is the best person to contact.
