Maddy's coming down to Florida!

Maddy is coming down to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a business meeting and is going to be staying an extra day or two after his meeting to play some VF! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
His meeting's from July 25th through July 28th and for everybody who's interested in playing with a player who's been referred to as one of the best NAVF players, please, come on down!

Projected days for now are July 28, 29 and 30. More details to come.

For those who don't know, Maddy's a very talented and well-liked VF vet who had retired from VF so news of his return is sure to bring a smile to all of the VF players who have met him and/or know of him.
Let's try and give him a nice welcome back to the VF scene /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

 

Don't go easy on him just because he retired..something tells me he still has it in him.

Have fun guys, if you've never met him, maddy is the coolest nicest dude, super-strong in the Evo/FT days (still strong?!). You will learn a lot! I guarantee that.

Here's what Maddy said about the dates that he'll be here:

"It'd be great if B1 or Stomp can make it. I'd also be cool to hang out and play with new faces. =)

I think that the main day for the event will be the Tuesday (Jul29). I don't know when the meeting will end on Monday, and I am flying out on Wednesday. Just so people know in case they want to take a day off from school or work.

Thanks for coming down, Maddy. I learned a lot from you on a lot of levels and I'm sure that the rest of the crew did too.
One thing I def learned from watching you play online on my account: online really doesn't mean much.
Watching you play online and offline was like night and day, bro, like night and day.

Thanks for all the VF and life lessons.

Yea, I had the opportunity to loose at the hands of Maddy in Youngstown Oh. He's got madd skillz. But more than learning the finer points in VF, he dropped some spiritual stuff that helped change my life. He's definitely good people. Akai was with him that day who btw is also a top shelf player. Both cats
are really good people.

 

God is everywhere

You know, I wasn't going to talk about that since we are minorities here but some of the things that happened during Maddy's short visit reinforced my faith and gave me a clearer picture of just how much God wanted us to keep in mind that He is #1 above everything else.

Not money, not family and def not VF should ever be put above Him.

We still had a lot of fun, just had to keep in mind how easy it is to fall into idolizing things that are lesser than Him.
Congrats on the life changes (hope they were for the better /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif )and may God bless you on your journey and struggles.
