Massachusetts / Boston - Call to Arms 5/17/06, Get Ready for VF5!

This is a call to everyone who's in Massachusetts, reads the board and have interests in VF:

VF5 is on the horizon. While there will be many unknown changes, it's clear the game is a lot more similiar than VF4 than previously 2>3, or 3>4.

There are still a lot to be learned from VF4EVO that will improve your game in VF5. So I invite you to come and play. The game is very fun, and there are still a lot of life in it. Don't let "waiting for VF5" be an excuse for not enjoy a great game.

So from now until VF5 release I'm opening up my house for VF4EVO every Tuesday and Wednesday and Sunday.

Doesn't matter if you are a oldie or newbie, if you want to play / learn / enjoy VF, please contact me.

akiralove you are making me out to be a racist, which is not true. In fact I love all color of people who loves vf.

Hyun and I had a good session last night, Jeffery / Lau vs. Wolf / Akira. For the longest time I felt I am unable to improve without a constant changing of opponents that matched my level. Lately this view has been changing…I’ve been walking around randomly in the day thinking about how to apply vf knowledge to actual gameplaying. I think I rely too much on instinct and not enough on game knowledge and proper execution. For example, hit check on every attack and response with the proper reaction while trying to stay away from Reverse-nitaku. Hyun and I played a lot of games over the years, but with this mentality every game is still quite refreshing.

Hello, Boston VFers.

I will be visiting Boston during the July 4th weekend. I am planning on meeting up with Andrew and Shang at some point during that period for some mad fun VFing. I hope to see many of you there.

Its a HUGE Gaming Convention in the Washington DC area.


It will take place on July 22/23.


I hope for a good 32 plan VF4: Evo tournament!!! The last VA tournament I ran, had about 16 players. I know with VF being at an event like VTYME which will host OVER 500 GAMERS, VF will surely have a great showing!!!!

Huge thanks to Hyun, Shang, and Jerky for the meet up this Sunday. Although I couldn't stay for that long, I had a blast playing and hanging out with you guys. I look forward to seeing you guys in the near future again.
