1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. I swear I've seen a discussion on this before, but I can't remember where it was. Anyways, this is a Q&A thread on what settings to use to compress videos for VF.

    1) What are good recommendations for compression codecs? Should you stick with using codecs that can be displayed by Windows Media Player without needing special downloads, or are video codecs like DIVX and XVID okay?

    2) What is a good filesize to shoot for in a full 5-round match? Should matches be no larger than 5 megs, or is 10 megs fine?

    3) What framerates should you encode in, would 15fps be satisfactory, or should all videos be 30/24 FPS?

As questions are added and answers/suggestions given, I'll edit them into this post. Thanks for your help, and FIGHT!

    1) XVID or WMV

    2)10-20 Megs IMO

3)30fps Always or higher. Nobody likes seeing choppy vf matches or out of sync ones either.

    Hope it helps /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
