Meeting the London Troc crowd.

Finding the Troc on Fridays was amazing. Thank God there are loads of people out there who can kick my ass royally, it's put the passion to train back into my Evo game.

Special shout outs to Optimus and Stalwart, for being generally friendly and approachable and for beating my sorry ass.

There were a couple of other people, but I'm rubbish with names. Sorry!

I'm going into the mountains to meditate, where I'll no doubt discover a number of new, devastating techniques.

i would get in to the fact that those sticks are crap, cant even do kages dragon insinctively (which is funny as i can do knees okay?)

What happened to that VF gathering you were planning to do in a community hall?

I've improved my play ALOT and Id like to get some challenges and revenge against certain people now, but I don't wanna try it on really bad sticks at Troc. I use alot more movement now so the stick has a bigger impact on my game now then it did before.

 

Are the sticks so bad there? I've never played Evo in an arcade anywhere other than in the troc, so I don't know. I do prefer my Hori stick at home, but then home turf's always got the best set-up /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I sure as shit hope I can make it down this Friday, though I have some wanky obligations I may have to keep.

Then, Saturday it's off to Reading to play on my mate's BRAND NEW EVO CAB. In his house. An arcade machine. With Evo.

Who was the chinesey guy who played as Vanessa and Lei Fei and Lion? Is he one of you guys was well? I'm always impressed by people who have loads of characters, my mind boggles at how you find time to reach any kind of decent level with them.

that was me trying to play Vanessa in a decent level but failed miserably. i think it's the joystick too. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif i don't have time to practice at all, only on friday nights in Troc and sometimes during weekends with my Southend mates "OmegaMAD and Moose", apart from that i've learnt more by watching others playing.

So, Friday at Trocs then? Maybe I'll be allocating some time to Force Five again with Zakuta and Massamune; damn weird game that. Those coming down/up on Friday might be in for a treat if Daisuke pitches up (he said "maaaybe". I saw him again on Sunday and we had a good series of matches. He's a patient guy and I know he's gonna give some peeps a little trouble. And no - he wasn't there early last Friday, so I don't know who you'll were playing.

as always ill be there friday as im playing at home on my pad way too much, damn stick still hasnt arrived and its been nearly 3 weeks, but the guys said theres an ooficial holiday in japan so the stick is behind a week, but has been ordered directly from hori, plus he emails me frequentlyso don't think hes dodgy. ALso i give props to optimus who owned me on friday , which makes a change from me owning him like FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! lol just kidding....well soughta....kinda.

Thnx to everyone for coming down. There must have been about 12 peeps there for at least 3 or four hours. Everyone got a few wins at least and nobody really dominated. Good to see some new peepes with new trix.
