I doubt it...I live in one of the South-Eastern suburbs along the Cranbourne/Pakenham areas. Unless you're one of the regular 3rd Strike players that I play in the city arcade, Bluehouse that I don't know of, nope.

Hey Substandard, I used to hang around 3rd Strike in the city arcade. I live in the SE suburbs too. What character did you used to play most? I might be able to recall you.

A blue Hugo. If you visit the Ozhadou forums, I also go by the name "Kisou" there.

On a side note, the JB Hi-Fi store near Bluehouse has VF5 running on a PS3, though its only got one controller plugged in. Better than nothing (I'm currently too poor to afford a PS3 and this is my only means to play VF5) ;p

What a great idea! I'll be dragging someone's PS3 sixaxis controller.

I am too, too poor to afford one of those things. But as long as there's a VF5 get together. It's all good.

A bit late but thanks to Jeff for hosting Alex, Jin and myself... got a real good amount of experience. Hopefully there can be more gatherings in the future with more people too.

 

My 2nd VSHG has arrived. Should come and play again sometimes =)

 

Any of you guys traveling to OHN in Sydney this year? Myke supposedly will have a machine set up or something.

 

What's a OHN?
And.. Who's driving up?

 

The OzHadou Nationals is a large scale gaming event held once every year, kinda like the Evolution tournaments (though not as big), but held in Sydney.

There are tournaments for a lot of games (mainly Capcom-based), but there's free Bring-Your-Own-Console areas allocated for unlimited casual play as well as holding un-official tournaments.
