memory cards and saved players

I have a couple of freinds that have a few charactors on a card and I have my charactors on another card and would like to play in VS with our charactors which works well when they fight against me but they cannot go at it with their charactors since they are on the same card. I will studdy this some more on my own trying different things but it seems that only P2 can use memory card 2 and P1 uses M1. any help on this is welcome. thanx

 

In Vs mode, P1 uses memory card slot 1 and P2 uses memory card 2. If you want to copy player info from one card to another simply boot up your machine without a disk inside and swap some files from one card to the other. Easy as cake.

 

that doesn't work since the game auto saves the file and then you would have to keep doing that at every save to update them all. I found ou that the game gives you enough time to swap a card from port to port when loading and saving which works fine until everyone has their own card.
