    The only clip of snake eater at the moment looks amazing.Snake's in some full on rambo style action.Does anyone know if the games a prequel or a sequel?My money is on the jungle being Zanzibar though the map on the snake is of russia, Ocelots stomping ground.

    I really dont see the fuss about metal gear 3 it looks exactly the same as number 2. Have konami ever heard of other colours apart from different shades of grey.

    It looks EXACTLY the same as MGS2... /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif
    But I don't care though, I'd still play it. Although it would be nice to have a graphics upgrade, now that MGS2 doesn't look so hot anymore. At least Konami should make it comparable to Splinter Cell...

    And yeah, someone mentioned that it might be a prequel and I think that's highly possible as well..

    Sorry man but are you on some sort of mind altering drugs? MGS2 is in my opinion the best looking real time graphics in a PS2 game so far. Ah well I'm an MGS2 fanboy so /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

    MGS2 is a mixture of Real-Time Grfx and Pre-Rendered Grfx. If you want to see phenomenal real-time graphics then wait until you see Silent Hill 3. I've been playing the PAL release with a friend and it is truly gorgeous. It still has some pre-rendered stuff, but is mostly real-time. If you want to see how MGS3 should look then play Splinter Cell on the Xbox. It is a far superior product than any version of MGS so far. I love all MGS games prior to Sons of Liberty. I thought SoL was a horrible game mainly because of the exceptionally lame story and problems with too many cutscenes. In the last 2 hours of the game you got to play about 15 minutes. WTF!?!

    Hmmm. Alot of people complained about Raiden/cutscenes in MGS2, most of them were uber-fans of MGS on the PSX. I never really played MGS on the original Playstation, so maybe I didn't have such expectations, who knows.

    As for Splinter Cell: well that's pretty much expected, the Xbox could render better graphics than most peoples PCs when it came out /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. None the less I thought MGS2 was very impressive for the hardware it was running on.

    You *MUST* play MGS on the PSX. It's graphics are definitely dated, but it is exceptionally well-done. Heck, you can get it now for under $20 and it is highly worth that. Cool characters, good story, and very much entertaining. It has some annoying boss fights, but the characters personalities make up for that.

    No offense man but have you actually seen the 'trailer'?He's fighting in the god damn jungle so where's this greyness you're talking about coming from?The waterfall sequence looks better than anything in mgs2.

    You could class me as an uber-fan of ps one metal gear ( and the series in general ) and I honestly don't see why people have such a big thing against mgs2.If you play it the way it's meant to be played it's an amazing, entertaining experience. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    Yeah that's the sole purpose Hideo Kojima brought out substance-Less film like cutscenes ( and raiden who I thought was a decent character ) and more action.More 'substance' if you will.Whatever gets delivered I still reckon it'll be a class package. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    NO!!I think the E3 trailers of MGS2 where very powerful with the cut scenes and especially with the japanese dialogue from Ohtsuka Akio ,Totani Kouji, Tanaka Hideyuki and chums!!!!!!!!
    I hope for a 8-9 minute trailer with action and cut scenes!!!! Balance please!!

    Ohtsuka Akio will always be the King of Jurai to me. He should never play any other parts. Although, it's cool he played Van Kuur in the VF anime.

    Wait a minute I LOVED /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif the E3 trailers of the game and loved playing the game, including all those cutscenes.I thought they were amazing and better than most hollywood blockbusters there have been for a while.Seen the full trailer?Looks pretty amazing.There's even at poke at GTA vice city.BTW any one seen the footage of half life 2?Words can't describe who good it looks!
