maybe its just the ageing gene, like the one that got solidus.

i dunno bout all this future crap. i quite like mgs3 but not mgs2 because mgs 3 just felt like a souped up version of the all time classic green beret.

i like militray games. but i dont like future military games.

    Proof of realtime.
As with Unreal, Fight Night, and that unnamed Koei game before it, the best way to show that something on the PS3 is realtime is to freeze everything and pan around, evidently.

At about the 1:28 mark, I could've sworn I heard Jacky's sound bites from the VF5 trailer.

I saw poster with all mgs4 characters and there was young girl (maybe Meryl?). My question- if she is Meryl, she should be old like snake- don't you think?

    Then, maybe she isn't Meryl.....

To an extent yes. I think he will finish off a lot of the stroylines that he has started, but I also think he will leave some open, or create new ones, because I'm sure that other people will continue to make MGS, even without Kojima.
I have to say, the new game does look good, though I hope the fact that he is an old crone doesn't affect the gameplay.
I wonder who the main bad guy is going to be, coz there has only been Ocelot who has been in all the games, and you've got to think that Ocelot will be way too old to be in this one.....

I think -Ocelot and Big Boss. These two guys I saw on poster. Also I think that Kojima will surprise us...

wtf? Ocelot still isn't dead?! I know I ain't played parts 3 onwards but I'm sure I killed him in part 1.

Are you crazy? He was also in MGS2 SoL. In MGS3 Ocelot was young soldier. I'm 100% sure that he will arrive in MGS4 and 70% sure that in 4 part we will see Big Boss.

Not sure about Big Boss, but I don't think the game will be the same without Ocelot and his double-triple-triple crosses.
I'm still not sure who he actually works for (if anyone), the last I heard (from MGS 2) he was working for The Patriots, but they are supposed to be dead, so Christ knows what is going on.
As for Big Boss, I thought Snake killed him along time ago, in Zanzibar Land at Outer Heaven?

I also heard that Raiden will be making an appearence, so that's something to look forward to (I am assuming he will be there to take numerous beatings from Snake).

They should have brought Liquid back. He was the best bad guy, none of this pussy assed Lightening man Volgin, or Super Suit wearing freak Solidus, just plain old ass whooping bad guy with a plot to take over the world.

whaaa! big boss now? thought it was the woman in MGS3? So confused on the story lines of MGS, lol.

Liquid Snake was bad ass too.

Ocelot has Liquid right hand now, so this person from second part of series has doubble faces ( Ocelot, Liquid ).About Big Boss - Snake also killed him in Metal Gear 1 ( unsuccesfull /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) On poster he look like freak, like zombie or monster ( maybe some kind of ressurection?) I think it's BB, becouse he is very old and has not right eye.

Wasn't the eye that Big Boss lost the opposite one to the one that is covered in the trailer?

I'm curious to see what the new Metal Gear looks like (I doubt it will be those small walking robots in the trailer, there are too many off them, and not that impressive).
Of all the 'Gears' (Including the Shagohod), which is people's favourite design?
Personally I liked the look of Metal Gear Ray best, but what do other people like?

In trailer, that soldier was not Big Boss, but Snake...About covered eye - I think that was some kind of electronic stuff (maybe radar or somethink).
