Minnesota Has VF4 EVO!!!!!

Thats right we got it. The place is Game World. In minneapolis, off of 7th and hennepin. It just opened last week. And this place totally rocks. They got 200 games, they also have a bar there with a movie theater on the 3rd floor.
OK now about the game it has a few quarks but all and all it is pretty good. the joy sticks take some time to get ues, and the buttons are in a straight row with no curve to it, and the settings are all wrong, time is 30 sec, rounds are best out of 2. but i talked to a tech and he said the would make it 45 and best of 3.

i am planning on the first week of Jan. I would love to hook up with you guys. and i can for the weekend, if there is someone I can stay with. I will have a car rented so i will drive up for the weekend. but nothing yet is set for sure, and it can change. I still have to talk to my mom for she is the reason i am going to FL for a week, and get time off from work. I am coming this winter for sure. When i know the dates i will message you. it sounds like you have a good group of VFers. cant wait to play with you guys

sweet. i might come check this place out. I have had the ps2 version ever since it came out but have had limited arcade play. Im just starting to play more vf and hope to get pretty good.

Say, that's great. I've been by the new building at Block E a couple times recently, and was wondering if Gameworks (or whatever its called) had VF. Of course, I'm more interested if they call me back for a waiting job.

Personally, I'd love to pump quarters into those machines and get schooled by you guys, but being unemployed and broke tends to shift one's priorities. Maybe I should be playing guitar outside (or in the skyways) to raise money...

Does anyone want to play some VF? It seem that the VF community is no longer playing though I was planning on going to play some EVO soon, but i dont like playing alone or with just one of my friends.(not saying there bad or anything we just play each othere alotSo i wanted to see who still plays in Minnesota. Right now as for as i know it is Sam, Jesse, Alexie and Myself. We still get togeather about once a week at Sams to play a little VF4. But that is about it.
Well just wonder if people still play vf in Minn. And if anyone wants to met up at Game World

Hey, I'll be in Minneapolis from about the 21st to the 27th of this month. It'd be cool to get together with some people to play, especially some EVO. Last time i was in MN the place where the Game World is was just a big pit where there used to be a theatre. Anyway, PM me and we can try to get together.

 

What the hell. If a few of you guys want to get together i may as well. The only reason i dont want to is because i suck. I used to be a 2nd dan lei-fei back when the ps2 version came out, but havent played much since. I'm also not used to using a stick.

I think the reason we got it is because Paul Wellstone died, and Norm Coleman ended up taking his job. Toss in Jesse Ventura, the Minnesota Vikings, and the typical six-month winter (which ironically hasn't started yet), and the answer is obvious: Sega felt sorry for Minnesota.

Hey! I live in Rosemount, MN and love VF although I only play it on consoles. My fighting friends are gone and the rest of my friends are a bunch of mainstream gamers that think Counter Strike is the greatest game created so asking them to memorize 1 move list is too much for their weak brains to handle. I would be much more hardcore if I had real people to play. Although having a girlfriend really hinders any social VFing /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif If there are people that play VF hardcore around the Twin Cities I gotta know!!!

Since virtually nobody plays the game here, no arcade
