missing fighters in Quest mode

I'm looking for about 4 fighters that I can't find because in the status menu, it says I've gotten 100% on all the arcades but only beaten 99.2% of the total fighters in Quest mode...so my question is, where can I find them?
I'm playing the US version and the missing fighters am looking for have names in between Archmage and Arizona, between Bulldozer and Burunx2 M (BurunBurunMaru), between Monchan and Mr Maru, and between Ohsu-Akira and Old Lady. Any help appreciated, couldn't really find this stuff in the Evo Faq or Items, etc.

 

Yeah, boy. I had this same problem at first but then I realized that the rest of characters are 'special characters'. They've orbs. You can find them by going to the W.M.A.C. There're are usually orb guys. For example Champion Guerilla has white and red orb. So you can find her in that kind of arcades where are after Champion is marked a star. I'm going to send full list of those special characters if you want. If you don't want then I won't do it. Simple. Anyway, try to find all orb guys in all Arcades. Sambo3kyu has gold orb and she's Vanessa 3th kuy. She is second example.
Your problem should be done when you find all orb characters. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

 

I've already beaten Guerilla including most if not all of the Champion fighters, as well as having accumulated all of the orbs, but I'll try out doing the WMAC II again...after doing so, haven't really found any new fighters, but it might take a while

 

My last missing character was Ohsu Akira (Sarah, Guardian). She was too 'special character'. Check out who guy is marked with ????? in your list and tell me who is above and who below of it so I can check who it is.

 

oh hey, dude....I figured out who I was missing
just BunBunMaru (WMAC & Ultimate Battle), Monichiro (somehow only in WMAC so far), and ArcticJeff (only found him in WMAC)
I pulled Ohsu Akira (Sarah) 1st round in WMAC and got lucky...heh
just getting the other guys is tricky...BunBunMaru is easy since he's good, but sometimes he gets taken out by other champions
the other 2, they always lose early, which means I have to get matched with them either 1st or 2nd round, which is hard b/c they usually get taken out by some random champion or so

 

All of those people are high ranked so you can just fight them in the final arcade. I'm not sure about Artic Jeff. I seem to remember him being ranked a little lower.

 

bunbunmaru and other fighter listed under SPECIAL are always traveling through different arcades i think? i find them in the last 3 arcades most often. i know bunbunmaru can be found in the second to last arcade for sure.

 

I'm missing 2, also. A champ and a hero. Do they show up in the WMAC, or any other Event Square tourneys? All my arcades are at 100%...

 

Kyasao can be found at least from three last arcades.
