MOAT details

    Hey guys, I'm getting pretty pumped on attending MOAT this time around. It's been quite a while since I last played VF3tb competitively and I'm itching to give it one last hurrah (how many times have we said that? /versus/images/icons/smile.gif) before VF4 comes around and we put VF3 to rest.

    However, I need to work some stuff out ahead of time since I need to arrange for a visa to enter Canada. So what I'm wondering is:

    - Estimate of lodging costs
    - Finalization of tourney dates
    - Adam are you sure we can drive up to TO?

    I'm definitely going to E3 so I'll need to plan carefully if I also want to make MOAT.

    This is just a general question why does the VF community only really play a single game in the series? I mean the Sreet Fighter community plays SSF2T, A2, A3, SF3TS, and many others why do we limit our tourney's and gathering's to one game at a time. Wouldn't it be cool to have a VF1, VF2, and VF3tb tourney all at one gathering. I'm not suggesting this for MOAT as it would be to much work for the kind and generous organizers but just as an idea for future gatherings and tourneys.

    With the exception of III, maybe, all the SFs are very similar in gameplay. You can pretty much have a "one size fits all" type of style.

    Definitely not the case with VF1, 2 or 3.

    thats why it would be very cool you could have VF2 specialist's and VF1 specialist's and you could actually see these games at a high level. It jusat seems a waste to throw the other games away as soon as the next instalment comes out all that practice just tossed aside in favor of the pretty new girl in town.
