1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Im modding my ex2 with sanwa parts, with these installed will it be on par with some custom controllers and be problem free (as in not breaking or getting worn out) or will i still run into problems.

Im kinda looking for longevity here any thoughts?

I modified my EX2 with Sanwa buttons months ago, and haven't had any other problems with it yet, and certainly don't expect so.

Sanwa parts have much better longevity than the original hori parts. As long as you are willing to go thorugh the modding process it should be good.

I just bought my EX2 last week. Unfortunately, I'm not much of an arcade fighter, but bought it mainly to play old-school XboX LIVE arcade games.

The controller is AWFUL for most games on there. Are there any mods I can do to actually make the thing more responsive? Ms. Pacman has the worst controlls. The controller just does not want to respond.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Im not sure how the ex2 can work for VF which is insanely based on timing and quick responses and not work for ms pac man...

Someone was looking to make the EX2 into a true 4-way stick - specifically for a Pac-Man game. Pac-Man and its variants don't respond well to diagonal inputs. Check out this thread.

I've used a working EX2 to play VF5 - the experience was fine.
