What up fellas, it' been a minute. I've recently been messing around with modding the RPCPS3 version just to see if it was possible and if so, just exactly how much was possible. Turns out we can mod pretty much everything in this game. Shout outs to Thesch28 for the heads up on the music files. We're able to not only modify the music files but models and textures as well. with the help of this a program called MikuMikumodel
I was even able to swap out one of Dural's random stages for the secret License Challenge Space version but it's still very buggy: You can see it in action in this clip

    The tools you'll need:

    - For modding the music: Download PES Sound file converter This program will allow you to convert the mp3 files into ADX files allowing you to customize your music.
Once modified, you would just need to replace the music file name to whichever stage or sound effect that you want. Make sure to backup the bgm folder just in case you want to go back to the original soundtrack. The folder is in:

    - Textures and Models: MikuMikuModel for extracting and replacing textures and models.

    - To convert .png to .dds files vice versa: DXTBMP

    - Gimp (Textures)
    - Blender (Models)

    Directory: RPCS3\dev_hdd0\game\NPUB30625\USRDIR\rom\objset

The stage files all start with "stg" again make sure to backup the objset folder if you ever want to go back to the original stages. Hopefully someone can get the Dural stage to work.

Can you mod it to show us the hurtboxes and hitboxes? This is the mod I've been waiting for

It's possible, there are tons of files to look into, but I've only been experimenting with basic mods.
