What style of stick have you been using?

If it has been an American style stick, it must be a matter of adaption, IMO. I used to use an american style sticks before I switched to Japanese Hory stick, and there were a lot of troubles at first.

If you have been using a Japanese style sticks, it would be a different story. A friend of mine didn't like the looseness of Hory stick and changed a part of the stick himself with somethng else. My advice is try the stick out for a extended period of time, and if it still doesn't feel right, go for physical modifications of the stick.

    Hope this helped.

It is a japanese style stick. I play with both types all the time, but when I try to do certain moves. Like in the Street Fighter DP or super fireball motion it doesnt come out. Seems to not registering something at a certain point. Then i noticed if I hold it a little bit tighter it works better. problem is this isn't my style and it is very uncomfortable. I have played these type of games at my local arcade that uses the japanese style sticks and have never had this problem. So how can i adjust it? - brian
