Well...I'm off school in March from March 3 to about March 11 (March break...WOOT!!!). So if other people have a break [from school] in that same week, I say we get a little gathering going around that time. Exams are next week for me, so I'm not sure if I'll be available for a VF session until after those are over.

Speed, is the arcade you're talking about called 2000+?

I think you are right. It was called 2000+. Is it the one near Guy on St-Caths? The one that closed down. They had VF4 on big screen.

I can't wait to play you guys and VF5.

 

Mmm wasn't that Daniels? I don't recall 2000+ having VF.
2000+ is actually still open.

I haven't been in arcades in years so i'm kinda confused as to which one is which. =) I know they used to have a couple of them on St-Cath.

Daniels? Was it the one with the big screen VF all the way in the back? Thats the place i used to have the best sessions back in the day. Lots of Asians there too.

I think it's indeed Daniels. Altho 2K had one VF4 machine for a short while, like not even 3 months.

 

J.M Amusement were the one had VF4: Evo. Hardly anyone playing this game beside Zero.

 

i will be ordering sticks in March, after I clear some February bills and crap.

Count me in for the next jamboree, it will the first time i get to play VS other VFDCers

I received some Elecom adapters this week, they work with Tekken 5 DR. I heard things that they don't work with VF5, but I rather test it out myself with my custom Sanwa stick (Dual Shock PCB) when the game arrives.

Cuz, I could lend you one of my Elecmos so you can test it with your old Hori. If you are in Monday, I will lend you one Elecom

as soon as I find out if the EB Downtown (where my pre-order is at) has em, I will post here to say that they got it in

 

Hi wasted,

I was on a mission today to get my hands on the game but failed. I tried Future Shop , EB games , Microplay and Best Buy around my area.

I had a hunch VF5 would not be available today but in the days coming after the 20th.

I know EB had the Brady guide in and i will say, it's a good book for novice players with pretty pictures and descriptions. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I will post later when i have it.

Yeah I called GameBuzz yesterday, and no dice. I'll call them everyday untill they get it, so I'll keep you posted.

 

I believe most of the stores will get the game today.
I actually received my Black book guide today too ^_^
