More Evo questions, and a couple observations

Well, i've been playing since release, but some stuff still eludes me:

1. What is the significance of the date in Quest mode? (e.g. 001, 012)

2. What do the pastel colored orbs do (the ones you buy from the shop)? They don't seem to show up above my character's name...

3. I've unlocked things that have labels like "No. 17" and "No. 28"... what are these? they're not colors or items or shop items... what are they?

4. Where is my ranking located? (I'm assuming in "status" but i don't know where)

5. How do i get new taunts 3 and 4 to unlock in the shop? They seem to be there with question marks by them...

And some observations:

- It's really nice to be able to see the opponent's struggle icon appear so you know whether the CPU is trying to struggle out of staggers and such.

- The CPU now breaks low throws. Nice.

- Goh is a badass.

The numbers indicate that you've won new wallpapers.

No idea...just an indication of how many days you've been playing.

These are eye colour. Not orbs. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was under the impression that these were the icons you've won from your opponents? I' ve accrued tons of these - far more than wallpapers...not sure though.

It's right above your name in the game. It's starts at 10th Kyu to 1st Kyu, from Sho Dan to 10th Dan and then some...if you go into status, it's there too.

I don't know the requirements exactly, but I'm guessing you need to rank up more. I'm 10th dan and I've got all mine for Pai.

I was under the impression that these were the icons you've won from your opponents? I' ve accrued tons of these - far more than wallpapers...not sure though.

I'm almost certain they are wallpapers because I originally started Quest mode with Brad and saw quite a few of the "numbers" as rewards. I then switched over to Kage and have barely gained any and not one showed up on the rewards screen during the whole "Collect 10 character emblems" quest. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

... Are the requirements for leveling up the same in Evo (e.g. beat five 4th-dan opponents)?
