    9/25)

Also.. Dragon Drive, by Treasure, for GameCube. Looks like a cel-shaded
    Panzer Dragoon game.

coming out in Japan sometime soon. Doubt it'll make it over here. I want this one. Looks fantastic. Go treasure!

Also Rtype final gets a U.S. publisher.

    http://www.gamers.com/news/1411397

Eidos has licensed Irem's R-Type Final for publication in the United States
under its Fresh Games imprint, Gamers.com learned today from sources close
to the deal. No date has been determined for the game's American release as
yet (it's due to arrive in Japan next month), but the game is crossing the
    Pacific in the near future.
Multiple western publishers had taken an interest in the game, including
Agetec and Empire Interactive, but it appears that Eidos has been the one to
close the deal, and in doing so enfold Irem's final side-scrolling shooter
in the lovely mustard-yellow Fresh Games livery. We'll update with further
    news as it arises.

    Nice....very nice.
I need to pull my DC out of retirement. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Also some new pics of the Phantasy Star remake for PS2.

Just below it - is Fantasy Zone, which looks like it'll have some nice 3D graphics in it. For you old-school fans, you might remember Space Fantasy Zone. A space Harrier rip-off (w/ Fantasy Zone characters) that was slated, developed, and totally finished for the Turbo Duo (in Japan) but never game out. I've got screenshots of it at my site if anyone wants to see. It looks like they've adopted a bit of that game for the new remake!

Mars matrix, unfortunately, didn't get a sequel -- that game is awesome.

I thought Gigawing 2 came out in the states, but I know nothing about the US DC market... except that you guys got screwed on Shenmue 2.

I like new DC games, and I like shooters - but I must say that Border Down, sadly, sucks. The guys behind it tried, what with the more-elaborate than-usual story and unorthodox play elements, but they just don't come together well. The worst part is the super-wonky control that just does not ever seem as tight and precise as it should be, making for unecessary frustration. I've played homebrew shooters better than Border Down... It's just not very fun.
