I already posted about these as something you can grab on IRC, but thanks to <font color="red">BMW</font> they're now hosted on a nice http server.

My plan, if it's practical, is to upload my favorite(s) out of each new batch of clips to the fast VFDC media server so everyone can ream it.

I don't know if you wanted a reply to this, but thanks a HELL of a lot /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif These vids are pretty cool.

My main reason for posting though is that Ikyuu_Jeffry_vs_Tokyo_Megane_Vanessa_movie_week.asf movie... /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif That man's Jeff is a fricking MONSTER. I need to steal some of his stuff and apply it to my Jeff.

There will be more posted in a bit, but I can't go nuts and put 'em all up at once - we've prolly hit over 15 gigs of transfer by now /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

 

off the top of my head I can't tell you for sure /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

But I'm fond of goh so I'm guessing yes. If I stumble across any more I'll make sure goh's in the filename so you can find 'em easily.
If you can find it, the tougeki vf4 final has some great goh play (I'm assuming I didn't have that in my list)... the filename was

the joe vs segaru match was satisfying^^

it really gave a sense of friendly and relaxed play, as well as pretty funny moments of "who will get the last hit", and it also seemed as though they knew each other's game well.. very entertaining to watch.

i especially liked when segaru baited a forward dash while joe was rising with a low kick, but then cancelled it and then charged in with a surprise low throw, i think segaru's low throw desicions is IMO definatley one of his strong points ^^. there were some nice TEing from joes side too, even with wolf's arquard throw input variations.

i wonder where all the wolfie and segal vids are nowadays, seems like they stopped their rep at ver.c, i'd love to see how they are with EVO wolf.

your akira is nice too, you deal with his linear character very well, got me in alotta failed evade punishment, lol, if you ever want a copy of the GB DVD, just let me know when you are comming down to london again, and bring two 700mb blank CDs with u (special thanks to UK-Guy), once you see whats on there, i'll probably see you with a whole arsenal of new techniques next time.

P.S. yah, i'm a sucker for TR follow ups (catch stance glory^^), what can i say, my most played opponent is ver.c CPU, but hey, you'll get alot of people like that around, staying on the floor is actually a sensible mind game for playing against anyone, just try to vary it, or you'll eat alot of pounces sooner or later^^.

i'm still learning myself to play against humans.

edit: These files are listed in order from largest to smallest, with the largest being at the top, a whopping 85 megger (sort of a fluke) and the smallest being at the bottom, 8 megs or so. The next batch, whenever I post them (maybe the first of next month, when the bandwidth limit resets) will be all 8 megs and under, arranged the same way.

If you want to check to see which files you already have, keep my naming system in mind - I leave the original filename alone, then append characters, players, and the movie_week part after it. So if you want to know whether you need to download kaku2a18_04_wolf_jacky_movie_week.asf ... just search your computer for kaku2a18_04 ...

TBAC are captured off of VCR playback of one of the beat tribe tapes. Thanks to gaijinpunch for that.

FB clips are chibita movies from a site that put out a crapload of mediocre movies, then died. The original url was URL http://www.aka.ne.jp/~fantasy/ ...they died because of too much bandwidth reamage. My impression is that this is a site devoted to one particular arcade league and chibita came to town one day to destroy them all because they failed to smear lamb's blood on their door.
