Music Selection in VF5US

Final Showdown on console was always missing VF5 vanilla versions of Akira and Kage's stage music and replaced with their corresponding star player tracks from Final Showdown arcade.

Now the missing tracks are here and the star player music is gone.

I really missed Kage's vanilla music so I'm happy about that but both those star player songs are 2 of my favorites in the whole VF series.

Jean's star player music is also missing and replaced with an entirely new track when you select vanilla. Not feeling this one that much.

I hope we get all 3 of these now missing songs back in the future. DLC if it comes to it.

ps. Just going through Jean's stage music with VF1 through VF5 vanilla selected in the settings, since he wasn't in those games we get a bunch of replacement songs. Some of them are really good!

 

I didn't know Star Players had themes, that's awesome. I really liked Akira's FS themes. I like the new music here, as Sega rarely dissapoints in music. I hope VF5US is played on the main stage of offline tourneys for the sake of hearing Brad's theme through large speakers at a venue.

 

Would be awesome to see those added again to the soundtrack selection. Wish they had included an option to select individual tracks for each stage. A lot of the VF5US soundtrack is amazing while a few don't quite live up to previous tracks.

 

We get some hidden tracks in there too!!

 

I'm curious on some the tracks used in the classic soundtracks for characters that weren't in the original games. Like Taka's stage when set to VF2 has a remix of Jeffery's theme from that game that I've never heard anywhere before.
