<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Man, that is exactly what I was talking about. Thanks so much for that. I didn't figure I was having a unique experience and, my God, to have it spelled out like that is just fucking cool. </div></div>

Yeah, weird huh? I read it when it was written last year. When you were talking about those Maiden albums it reminded me of that article. The main idea really is true. To me the effect is strongest in the springtime or when the weather is good or when I'm well rested or inebriated.

For me, there are two Dinosaur Jr. albums that I was obsessed with back then that give me chills today. I always think about driving around, delivering pizzas at age 18 and listening to rock n roll. Ah, good times.

Lily Allen - Smile, Alfie, LDN

Sebastien Tellier - La Ritournelle (original edit)

    Depeche Mode - Precious

Zero 7 - In the Waiting Line, Out of Town

    LCD Soundsystem - Yr City's a Sucker

    Fort Minor, Remember the Name.

Fort Minor's Rising Tied is a really nice album in my opinion. Kenji, Right Now, Where'd you go, and the track above are all great.

    also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZw-8RSyvh8

Alanis Morrisette's parody on Fergie's "My Humps". lot of fun.

Hah! Mastodon's Blood and Thunder is featured on GuitarFreaks V2. The foreground guy reminds me of akiralove (well, maybe his younger brother if he has one - that, you know, looks like a younger version of his older brother type thing). When I first saw the video clip in GuitarFreaks it was disoncerting... "effening SPOTLITE!?! - oh, wait.. well? close enough."

I really dig creative explorations of songs. In my opinion if all you're going to do is sing it as it has been sung then there is no reason at all to do a cover.

This is Matt Weddle of Obadiah Parker doing his acoustic cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya".

The new Chromeo album. Warning, these guys are cheesy enough to turn your sound playing device into a fondue.

Music is a good way to drown out all the noises of the world, especially if you have good headphones. I've been listening to Rammstein: Seeman. Its a wonderful song.

More like Kanye West and Little Brother
