Name of forum confusing new posters?

I don't know if this was brought up before, but it seems to me that calling the strategy forum "Virtua Fighter" might be confusing new posters. Yes, it is written under that the purpose is for discussing strategy and techniques, but I get the feeling a lot of people don't read that and just run in and post. I think changing the name might help in cutting down on the number of "this goes in the general forum" replies.

What do you think?

the layout of the site is pretty logical
New users simply just have to read before they jump the gun.

That's the whole reason why Jamboree was created...n it has worked pretty well so far.

If only there was a way to make new registered posters 'READ THE RULES' before they start posting like mad men/women.

 

Well, different people seem to have a different idea of what should go where. Anyway, even veteran posters post in the wrong forum, and often without the same level of criticism that newbies get. What can I say, not everything is fair.

 

The forum descriptions have been slightly rewritten, hopefully for more clarity...

description for the virtua fighter topic header states its for Stragtegy etc including other misc stuff.

misc stuff is pretty broad.

 

You're supposed to be able to discuss anything VF in Virtua Fighter 4, with the caveat that media stuff goes in Media and community-type messages go in Jamboree. General should not have anything VF.
