need LCD advice

I saw this deal but I know very little about monitors...is this any good?

A good deal is dependent soley on what meets your needs. The monitor is at a reasonable price, 19" is not a bad size, High def with good resolution out put. What Im not seeing, it the type of cables you can connect to it...ie component, Vga, svideo., Or do the monitor support progressive scan. You need to be able to get your questions answered, and ask as much as you can.

 

Stay w/ a CRT if space isn't a problem still a better value & quality.

 

hmm thats not too bad, I'd prolly buy that too but I love me CRT's.

12ms response time is good enough to play PC games off it with out ghosting on you. Although 16ms is decent for everyday work minus gaming. Lower the better.

300 cd/m for brightness is pretty good too 260 and higher is what you need to be on the safe side. 500 is nicer though.

 

i got my 19" lcd for about $500.
