Need some opinions please!

    I'm relatively new to VF4 and i play Lei Fei atm. I used to play Shun and Jacky in VF3. I play Lei Fei cause i like the mind game possibilities he brings.

    Now the real question -
    I've been having problems playing the faster characters in the game (e.g kage, jacky and lion). Do you guys think it is a good idea for me to play some other faster characters so i can have easier wins or do you think i should work harder with Lei Fei?

    PS: Tell me what you think Myke : )

    Hey Kimble /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif I definitely think you should stick to your Lei and try to develop him a bit more, but there's nothing wrong with picking up another character to help you refine other skills. I'll see if I can get Ken to come to PT more often since I don't think you've met him. In my opinion, he's the best Lei player in Sydney I've seen and played. I'm sure you'll pick up many interesting things from him.

    Anyway, I have a problem with the "easier wins" comment you made though, heh. I honestly don't think wins are easy for any character (even if it looks like the opposite) and I wouldn't recommend a character choice to be based on this line of thought.

    Heh thanks Myke. I played with Eddie yesterday and he told me that Lei Fei is not suitable for me cause it's too difficult so it got me thinking. I like playing Lei Fei and it actually doesn't matter to me that much if i lose more playing him (thank god it's not 2 bucks a game!).

    But thanks for your opinion. I've decided to stick with Lei Fei. It would be great if i can play with Ken. I'm sure i would learn a lot from him.

    We went to PT last night but I guess we must of missed you guys. We arrived just after dinner which was around 8:30 or so. We only stayed for about 30 mins before leaving. Usually Eddie calls me if he's there before to see where I am. I'll sms him next time, or give me your mobile number via PM.

    As for character advice, like I said I still think you're progressing well with Lei. The fact that the character design appeals to you is a good thing too. But hey, there's no harm in trying out other characters anyway. By all means, try a few and see how you go /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
