new characters

so, i agree both that it would be nice to have more characters AND that we have so many now that its hard to master the game. of course balance cannot be compromized. i think it would be awesome if every character had a clone. a character with the same moves but a different character model. maybe even some moves look diff but keep same frame data/properties. i would love this. a guy vane--maybe a giule look alike. a brawny monk with huge beards. a fat brad style. a luchador that isnt rey mysterio. a jeff style that actually gets cool items. an even gayer lion...ok, couldnt help myself...how bout a lion style character that is 4 times the man lion used to be. lol. i admit, i cant stand lion. sidebar, b4 u flame me---there is a lion named: g radar: in quest mode

Other fighters weren't meant to be in Street Fighter image.

SF is my main 2d fighter, where as vf is my favorite 3d fighter, but vf is perfect as the way it is without any influence from any other game. Adapt or move on.

 

You know, the producer of SF4 dropped "just see what happens in the home version" when asked about the few female characters in his game. Having me think everyone is going to have an opposite gender skin...

Well, maybe for Kage and Lion. But otherwise: no!

We just need more Western styled costume options. My votes are strongly for Vanessa in a tuxedo and Lion as a 80's punker.

 

You'd be nuts too not want a create a charactar options (and yes i know it was on Soul Caliber, but taht doesn't mean it wouldn't be awesome to have on VF.....unless of course you lack creativity),

That being said it'll never happen. But they could blow the scene up with more items, more more more. I want that 3rd eye for lei, then i'll put a blindfold on but still be able to watch my opponent.
p.s. Outfit E for lei fei sucks. Who wants a Neo-esque trenchcoat, give me a break.

i don't even like street fighter. but yes more options is what i want. Adapt???? to less options???? Well, liberal use of the word adapt, but ok. Why would i switch my game because i want more character models for a greater variance in aesthetics. Perhaps...maybe i should switch my game to the original Double dribble--it only had 2 characters, magic and bird.

Judging by the pics/vids that I've seen SF4 looks more like another SF EX game rather than a true SF. Apparently Third Strike will be the last of it's kind. Which doesn't bother me too much, I mean the game is a decade old and still the state of the art for the genre it repressents(2-D fighting).

 

What defines a true SF game exactly? The people that played the game in Japan said the screen shots do no justice for the real look of the game. I'm sure you kept up with the interviews with Ono on why isn't in 3D and why he admitted that 3s graphics exceeded their limits. I agreed with the 3D route, because 2D graphics had little to no improvements after Guilty Gear. All I will say is each to his own.

That's because it (more items, character creation) would max out the disc, hard drive, USB drive, or whatever you store a VF game on.

I want the option for mix and match for all outfits. Not just pants...
