New Sega am2 games in the future

Couple of years ago 1Up was talking to Hiroshi Kataoka. Hiroshi Kataoka is the producer of Virtua Fighter games and Fighting Vipers. 1up said "Finally...any chance we'll see Fighting Vipers get a belated third installment, ala Virtua Cop 3?" Hiroshi Kataoka said "After all, I never expected to be producing a new After Burner after all this time...that was my dream for so long!"
What do you think about it?
Do you think Hiroshi Kataoka going make a Fighting Vipers 3 after Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown.

 

Anybody old enough to remember Fighting Vipers is old enough to have kids that don't know WTF a Fighting Viper is . They would be like " Fighting Vipers ?" " You mean Rikya from Yakuza 3?"
I just re- bought FV2 for my old Dreamcast. That game could seriously use a Quest mode. Yeah, I would like to see an update, with 3D evades, and all the VF5 bells and whistles (heck , maybe they could put zero frame throws and a clash system in there) .

Fighting Vipers is over the top, so if they market it right, it could sell.
