1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    Heya guys,

I had a look around in some other topics but couldn't find the all the answers I was looking for, so I'm just gonna throw all of my basic questions out here /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

    - Is VF4: Evolution worth getting simply for its training aspects? I’ve heard it had a much more in-depth Dojo which I’d like to have at my disposal.

    - Is there any particular arcade stick that is highly recommended out of the various choices available? The Hori EX2 is the more obvious choice, but I've also heard that some X-Arcade sticks can be modded and if that’s the case, which would be recommended of the two?

    - As a temporary alternative, would it be worth trying the ufighterx.com d-pad mod that I’ve heard so much about? I’ve seen very mixed opinions on it, but I tend to think that may be due to some people reassembling their controllers wrong or not sanding enough plastic back to cause a noticeable difference.

    Anyways, that's that /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Thanks in advance for any replies /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I would stay away from getting an X-arcade stick. I never heard any good reviews from them.

The Hori EX2 is good and is what most stick players use but I much prefer my custom-made stick.

I currently own a True Arcade solo from Arcade-In-A-Box It came with a Sanwa square gate and Happs convex buttons.

I would stay away from the older game for training. The moves and physics are going to be dissimilar. Have fun playing it, but train on the game you want to compete in.

I have an Arcade in a Box stick also and I'm super happy with it. I got the Perfect 360 joystick option with the Sanwa buttons. Great action, sturdy, and comfortable.

Sweet, I’ll definitely be looking into getting one sometime soon /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Out of curiosity, is there an adapter for the X360 True Arcade Solo that allows you to plug it into your PS2 or Original? I tend to think I wouldn’t use it extensively but it’d be nice to have.

    Thanks again guys /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I'm playing virtual fighter 4, and I have a problem: the analog bots dont works, only the L/R/U/D buttons. Can someone help me?

You mean the analog stick on the PS2 dual shock? It's not supposed to work... fighting games are traditionally played with d-pads (if you don't have any arcade stick), and I don't think VF4 gave you the option to switch.
