New to the game

very simple question

I'm tryin to get the basics of Lion down, and in training I can't figure out

Mabanshu /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (during Defensive move)
Shashin Konryuchu /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif (during Offensive move)
Shashin Sokusouteki /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (during Offensive Move)

 

i understand, that took me a minute to understand as well since i'd never played a VF game before. simply tap up or down for defensive move and push /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. tap up or down followed by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif will the the Offensive.

I may be wrong about which is called offensive and which is considered the defensive but that is the correct way to do both of them. Read the manual that information is all there surprisingly... which is how i learned about it.

 

Def move is when you sidestep then hit P+K. Off move is when you hit P+K+G after sidestepping (you should hear a shuffle sound) then you can hit P or K to attack from that state

 

thanks guys, now I'm stuck on the "from Kanpo" moves

I know it has to do with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif but I cant seem to pull it off

 

You can only get into Kanpo stance after doing certain moves, then pressing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. I think /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif moves you into Kanpo.

Kanpo is the little shuffle dance he does after the move.
