Sup, my tag is BinBall. I mostly play 2D fighters and haven't attended many tournaments, with most of them being online. Right now, I play a lot of GGACPR and VSAV. I have little experience with 3D fighters and tend to stick to 2D. I've played T7 (and Sonic the Fighters) a few times, but I could never really get into them, mostly because of the netcode. However, I've been interested in VF for a while, mainly because of the gameplay and movement, which are very important to me. The only problem is that I don't currently have a PC to run it on lol but I should by the time of the R.E.V.O. For now, I just have an Xbox One, so I'll be playing the 360 port of Final Showdown. Lastly, as you can probably tell, I talk a lot. It just happens when something interests me, so I apologize if I tend to ramble in text.

 

Hi, I'm fence. I play guilty gear xx accent core +r competitively as Slayer and Sol since 2021, but since I started playing vf5 a few weeks ago I haven't been able to play anything else. I play Brad and Jean in VF and intend to stick with the game competitively for a while as I've really meshed with the fast paced offensive nature of the game contrasted by the deep, high skill defense which makes dealing with and applying pressure so addicting.

I really like the idea of forums; and coming from the GG community, the loss of the dustloop forums is one of the worst things to happen to the community. So I hope as a student of the game I can contribute and take advantage of these forums the amazing VF community has kept up all these years. I love labbing combos and offense, so I hope I can find new tech and combos for all my fellow Brad players. I'm active in the discord and I'm always looking for matches in the PC matchmaking chat, especially late at night.

New VF player, always wanted to get into it, but never could get a way in.
Found out about the rather robust local (SA) scene, the very helpful forums and the VF5 REVO OpenB. So the stars aligned, and I decided I'm into it.
I came from Tekken 7, and although some knowledge does transfer (whiff punish, 3D awareness, some execution, kinda spacing), the learning of the different mechanics is really fun.
So, really looking foward to see and understand the secret sauce that made VF so interesting.
Oh, I got into Jean Kujo in the OpenB, I guess I like karate huh, Heihachi main in TK.

 

After going through a bunch of different 3D games at the locals ended up trying VF and really enjoying the way you get to make decisions in this game.

Big nerd and probably enjoy spending more time reading the wiki and thinking about fighting games than actually playing them, so I will end up spending a lot of time on VFDC (and already have).

Main Alisa in Tekken 8, Kilik in SC6, F-ciel in MBAACC, bunch of other characters in other games and probably Pai in this game.

Hello, not new here but I lost my old E-mail and been inactive. I'm from Sheffield, UK. I do have an offline weekly scene (Steel City Clash) in Sheffield that has been going on and off for like 10 years. Post lockdown, we've been consistent on having weeklies. Anyone near the area, we run every Wednesday. We've never forgotten Virtua Fighter and kept playing even before Ultimate Showdown came out with Final Showdown. Ultimate Showdown and REVO has increased interest with the game and it was already very popular at weeklies. More so than Tekken, which is very weird for an FGC scene. I main Lion and I say my skill level is I know what I'm doing and I understand the game. Just need to work better on my decision making and match up knowledge and stop pressing buttons.

Made it my new years resolution to try and help my VF community in my country stay active and alive by travelling to as much offline VF events as I can. I play Street Fighter 6 on the side. I play other fighters too but rarely. VF and SF are my go to, makes sense, they were the innovators of 3D and 2D fighting games and the same games I grew up with on the Saturn/arcade.

 

Hi everyone, my name is BSamdii! I played some Virtua Fighter as a kid but been trying some new games as I become a competitor in the FGC. I primarily play Tekken but with VF coming back I want to expand into that scene since I love playing all kinds of games and learning everything I can.

I do have a local scene but it is quite small so I want to bring VF more into the spotlight near me. I still have no idea who to main but am liking the looks of characters like Jeffry, Brad, El Blaze, and Vanessa. If anyone wants to play games pleases hit me up!
