Next Tournament - Sunday 17 February

The next Dynamic League Virtua Fighter 4 tournament will be on Sunday 17 February.

Location still to be confirmed.

If Funland sort their joysticks and buttons out we will go there if not it will be at Casino.

All international visitors should let us know that they are coming. It is better they be defeated with respect than to be defeated as unknown scrubs.

I will personally give a Lion Rafale welcome, introduction and initiation into UK Virtua Fighter 4 advanced play.

It was nice watching some of the Japanese clips yesterday. The level of play is more or less the same as UK.
As for the rest of Europe I will be glad to explain the button configuration as they might get VF4 confused with VF3.

 

It's great to see some of the old faces coming back from the old Virtua Fighter 2 days.

 

Yeah really up for this tournament. I haven't been around for a long time and I can't wait to challenge the best players around again especially prince and ryan....

2 - 5 players are welcome from France.

1. Take Eurostar to Waterloo Station.

2. From Waterloo Station get a train to Embankment Station which is on the Circle Line (Yellow) or District Line (Green). The journey is about 3 minutes.

3. From Embankment Station change onto the Northern Line (Black). And get a train to Goodge Street Station. The journey is about 3 minutes.

4. come out of Goodge Street Station and turn right. Walk for 30 seconds and you will see Casino. Come inside and go down to the basement.


The tournament will start from 5 pm. You all may come early to make friends and get some practice.

sweet, ima come along for the show also, even though i'll get my ass kicked as i only started playing vf4 from last month! but i used to play vf3tb all the time in namco back in the day im not lookin forward to playing against lions as hes become well fidally, an still having his extra evade from vf3 helps him big time i wonder how many f,f,kk were gonna see?

Just wondering since the french players are coming, are the old players from Denmark arriving as well???

How many players is attending the tournament?
Are there any price available for the winners ie. mars bar etc...?

 

We have no idea who will come. But it looks like we will have the biggest tournament ever.
I'm still in negotiations with sponsors so we will have to wait and see.

well this week-end we will decide if we go or not in london
(there is a tournament there in paris too...the same days...)
i prefer to go in london for learning more about vf4!sure!!
but it's quite expensive for one days (eurostar sucks..) for some guys...they ask to me if there are somethings to win in your tournament?? (if one of us win hahahaha...)

i want to see uk guy and maybe ryan hart... long time no see...
it was for an another games (kof97) with bruno vaysse 4 years ago...

 

well, speaking a bit for the Danes...

I don't think any of us will be there. Most of us haven't even played VF4 yet, since the Danish importer DGA Elite is a bunch of ball-less monkeys blaming their inability to get VF4 on Sega (yeah right! How come there are plenty machines everywhere in western Europe except for Denmark and Sweden?). Luckily a friend of mine as a SP2 and is getting VF4 soon, so we can finally do some catching up.

 

i been praticing tough 2day, spent like £20 on vf4 to day an got battered by some ones jacky(alan?) big time, jackys far to powerful, more so then lau! and a akira player about 5 times each but came back with my lau to gain a slight win streak ohh well , ima play my vf3tb as well
