NIU SHOOTING

I cant believe this happened so close to home. What is wrong with the world today. I just cant comprehend school shootings. My prayers go out to the families and students for their lost.

 

This might not be PC but, I swear if there's a shooting at my school I'm gonna be pissed. This shit needs to stop. Go see a friggin psychologist

These people don't need prayers, they need someone to talk to.

There is still quite a stigma towards mental illness (yeah, it's improved beyond involuntary confinement, but it's still fucked).

If the same efforts used to accommodate physically handicapped people (which is still inadequate anyway) for the mentally handicapped, there sure as hell wouldn't as much of this shit.

Why does this happen more often in the states? Does it have to do with our (American) culture being violent (based entirely on the destruction/exploitation of people)?

Bleh.
