haunts you will have to save up alot of money to have your own place and hold gatherings since i expect you to have the correct systems to play on, at least 40" hdtv, and some nice furniture.

It actually might be impossible for me to go this time around as I'm on call for work and need to show up to any unattended shifts (this is until July 31st).

a guilty gear pal of mine wanted to get together on saturday but maybe i can push him back to sunday.

edit: speaking of which, i've been talking with a few people in the gg community and we're thinking of hosting a tourney dedicated to obscure fighting games within the next month or so at sjsu. would you guys care to see vf there? i'm afraid i lack the proper equipment for vf (unless you guys wanna play ver. b) and i'd be busy running the gg brackets so if you guys wanted a showing you'd have to put some effort into it yourself. if you're interested in coming/hosting vf then just pm me your aim/yahoo/msn/whatever and we'll talk about it.

 

do you guys have a date in mind? i'm gonna be busy the weekend of the 20th and i know alot of guys will be gone for evo weekend as well.

i'd be willing to bring my setup and i think maybe scamp could bring his as well if we needed it since he would most likely enter for ggac. i have no experience running brackets though.

what other games are gonna be played? i know renzo plays all them 56 hit combo loli games.

but yeah man saturday so far the only confirms are me and haunts, possibly this dude named ghostal from srk forums. you and everyone else are more than welcome though.

 

we're thinking 22-24 or 29-31 and should know for sure by this time next week. we've tried to make it viable for everyone in norcal to go hence why it's a) after evo and b) in san jose.

so far we have ggxxac, melty blood and arcana heart. if there's enough interest in vf we'll host that as well.

the only one of those games i play is guilty gear, which is another reason i'd like to see vf there so i'm not bored out of my mind after the gg tourney is over.

holy fuck norcal. way to totally exceed my expectations. and to think all it took was a game and two other guys.

thanks to jay for hosting this shit and making the whole experience very enjoyable. i'll definitely make arrangements to head up there sometime again soon, and i'll let you know when that tourney has a date (which should be confirmed tomorrow).

shoutout to haunts who really needs to learn how to guard 8P's (but you always see through my fuzzies so i guess we're even hahah) and just kicks ass in general. thanks for the ride to sf as well.

it was well worth the 4+ hours on the train and ~$25 (yes i actually counted how much i spent today), and since we're now officially the norcal vf and gg capital (best gg players in all of norcal mang, for realz) i've only got more incentive to head up there- assuming of course i don't run out of money any time soon.
