^No. I'm telling you, splurge for the hrap, you'll be glad you did. wider, sturdier, and it looks way more comfortable. and why you worried about being good on garou to play on a stick? that's how you learn bro. don't worry about it.

 

I played on a hrap 3 and I own 2 FS3s, and yeah, I prefer the FS3... however, I also bought my FS3s at the price of 35 (each) over a year ago. 70 for a FS3, to me (a fan of the stick), a huge rip off and you're better off buying the hrap 3 for one good reason: it's muuuuuuch easier to mod unlike the FS3.

Granted, the FS3 will last a while (mine survived a year of hardcore mashing before I needed to re-saunder[sp...] a few wires that just disconnected from the 1,2, and 3 inputs). No comment on hrap durability... but you can mod that thing easily.

Mine which is an hrap1 has lasted me since i got it march last year. It's still great. Only thing it does is a pretty rare random up input on my stick in neutral when I play 3s on xbox w/ my mayflash 3in1 converter (might be the converter). I also havn't played as much as sebo tho, cept for when I put in on Mahvel (sinful word on this site /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif ) so I did some mashing as well as some "modding" rearranging the buttons. Word of advice, don't screw the top bolts too tight.

My thing is whatever stick you get, you should save and spend on the best parts to mod it. I can't wait to put some sanwa buttons in my stick. I don't think the fighting stick comes with a stock sanwa stick, look it up.

the fs3 is all cheap hori parts stock. i'd definitely be putting in a JLF-TP-8T and OSBF-30's all around no matter what i end up getting.

and as much as i'd like to save this bit of money i have now for an hrap, i need to get my muscle memory adjusted to stick. for vf it's not a big deal since it's 3 button but for guilty gear it's proven to be a big problem. i'll definitely be able to buy a better stick in the future if it's needed, but i really just need something now, so for today it's either fs3 or mayflash.

Now let's discuss VF; I'm back on Tuesday, but I will be busy as hell on Weds, Fri, and early Sat/Sun. The following week, the YMCA I work at will be closing for a week due to it's annual maintenance-fun-time, meaning impromptu games are possible during this time frame.
