NVGA: G-kon Results

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Well, after getting back from G-kon I must say that I had a lot of fun. In particular, the VF tournament was small BUT very competitive. Every match was close starting from the jump. Everyone was good at this tournament. No chumps here. Here are the results for VF:

1st - Muchi (Jacky)
2nd - Linkrc -(Sarah)
3rd - DFG (Brad)
4th - Baby Link (Shun)

The matches were all good. I lost to Link in the final round of the final match with both our life bars down to less than 2% so pretty much first one to hit was going to win. The whole tournament was best 3/5 so Link one the first one, I won the second, he won the third, I won the fourth and then he got me on the last low hit. Good times definitly. The player Muchi was very good using a lot of fuzzy guard up close and locking you down. In the winners final I was up on him 2-1 but he got in close and it was hard to get out. Learned a lot and will try to implement some of the things that were used against me.

 

Mochi is too good. At least we had a better showing than the last time he came over where no one won a round, haha.

DFG, you were much improved, man. All that practice definitely paid off. After seeing your improvement, I'm glad that I'll be traveling soon for this game. I really want to see more good players than when a random Japanese player happens to come over.
